Nice unit but difficult to fit
The light unit is quite difficult to fit because the cable length is very short. However, once fitted it looks very good and gives an excellent light output.

Good...while it lasted!
Sadly, this unit failed almost exactly 12 Months after fitting it.Sod's Law, it took me a while to monitor it as it gradually went belly up, because it was randomly failing to come up to full brightness, sometimes only half of it would illuminate, other times it would fully illuminate. Thus, I strayed past the 12 Months, and now the Amazon Supplier (AuctionZ Ltd) will not accept a Return.The unit itself was surprisingly thin but, it was easy to fit.When working, this did give out a nice bright white light, although we probably needed two to illuminate the comparatively small kitchen we fitted it in. I paid £39.95 for this, whereas now it has dropped to just under £20.00, so at least it is now better value.Therefore I am disappointed - rather than angry - that it has failed, and saddened that it is out of warranty cover at just a week or so over 12 Months since purchased.I think it's debatable if this unit meets the Sale of Goods Act 1979 in terms of a ceiling light being of a quality such that it cannot operate for longer than 12 Months, but perhaps I was just unlucky?As far as I can see, there are no parts that can be easily replaced so, this unit is now Land Fill, unless I can spot any components that I can change, such as a failed Capacitor or similar (which may well require soldering, so beyond most Consumer's capabilities).Shame, I would otherwise have been happy to award this unit 5 stars. It was good when it worked.

Great light - useless clips
These are nice slim light fitting that give a good light and are a very good price. However the clips that come with them are next to useless, which is a shame as they mar an otherwise good product.
