Univet 5X7 Ultimate Overspecs Italian Safety Orange Work Glasses

Purchased for blue light blocking and for being able to put over my reading or distance glasses, does exactly that. They do not block green in the slightest and obviously they give an orange tinting to everything, Most noticeable when looking as something like a light bulb or white on the TV. After a short while you don't really notice unless you look at a light bulb.I have found that after about 20-30 minutes of wear I start to yawn indicating they are working, also I've noticed I tend to sleep better.Highly recommended if you have replaced all your light bulbs with LED's as I have, as these produce more blue light (so I am told)

These cut out all blue light. Green & red light pass through.They fit comfortably over prescription glasses (or on their own.)They wrap around very well to cut out most peripheral light. Not a light-tight fit, but fairly close.The UV525 description seems to be nonstandard, and suggests it cuts out cyan light (500-520nm) in addition to blue light. I can't confirm this, but if true it's a useful benefit when using these as a sleep aid. I certainly don't see blue of any shade through these even when looking at a blue sky, so I'm inclined to trust the implication.When looking for blue-blocking overglasses, the choices I found were these or Uvex ones. These are a lot cheaper. I nearly went for the Uvexes as I was more confident they'd be high quality and they boast of Spectrum Control Technology (ooooh!) But I got these and any concerns were dispelled. These are perfectly good quality and cut out the critical blue light completely.I would have liked these to have an overall tint in addition to cutting out all blue light. Or alternatively pure red lenses that cut out all green as well as blue light (like my Draper laser-enhancing specs - but they are not overglasses.) But as they are, they are a useful addition to my sleep aid toolkit.They could be a couple of quid cheaper, but I'm being petty. That's the only reason I haven't given 5 stars.

I use this for blocking blue light from devices and tv.I put in as the sun is going down. I find these work well and will fit over existing prescription glasses. Great product
