We’ve been using these in an outdoor shower. They do not leave any soapy residue on the patio. The scent is wonderful.

This shampoo and conditioner have worked so well with my hair! I usually have shiny hair but a pretty dry scalp, so it’s been hard to find products that actually balance both. This one totally does the trick. My scalp feels healthy, my hair stays soft and shiny, and it smells amazing—a light, refreshing coconut scent that isn’t too strong or artificial.I’ve bounced between this and Aveeno for years, but I’ve finally decided this is THE product for me. I highly recommend this brand to anyone who wants healthy, great-smelling hair without the harsh ingredients!

Firstly, The duo arrived with my other Amazon items, although they were in their own separate box. Very secure, and didn't break or leak in transit. That being said when I opened that box, the bottles appear to have both been previously opened. I'd say it was just the adhesive being poor quality, but as you can see in the photo one was clearly torn. Although, it didn't appear to be a used set. Both were completely full and didn't have nay other reason for me to believe they were tampered with. Just something to note.As of the first wash, the smell is amazing for the price. The texture wasn't too thick or thin and lathered respectfully, without seeming like a "cheap" lather.I blow dried and straightened with no other products in my hair to see how well it would preform on its own. Was not very lifting, although it kept the frizz to a minimum. My hair isn't very shiny but is still soft.So at the end of the day, I'd say for the price point and it being sulfate free it's a decent set so far.I will be updating later on after I've used the product for a little longer!Update: It's been a week or two and I've only noticed a couple things. I usually lose hair when showering, but I tend to lose a but more with this set after the week or 2 of me using it thus far. That and this set hasn't been great with my hair air drying, only blow drying. It works well with other products when styling. Other than that, it's pretty alright for the price point.

I need to start out by saying I never write reviews, like ever. But I felt compelled to write about this one. I have pretty dry damaged hair. I’ve used everything on the shelves at the store and some super pricey shampoos and conditioners as well. I either don’t like how they feel, how they smell, how they feel in my hair, or lack luster in their promises of repairing hair. I bought this and received it today, I used it and it’s a game changer. The smell is very subtle, but strong enough to smell the yummy coconut. Not perfumy at all. My hair is pretty coarse, I have had to use spray leave in conditioner after showering for the last 2 years. I did not have to use any tonight. My brush combed thru my hair like butter. It’s not heavy, or greasy. This stuff seriously is AMAZING not to mention reasonably price. I will continue to buy this product and really excited to see what else this company has. Definitely, definitely recommend!!

Here's the thing, you want full natural and organic, you're not going to be using a product from behemoth Unilever. My first hint that it isn't all it says it is was the lather. First reason for the overall 3 stars. In a "no poo" type product, I don't expect that kind of lather. I'm coming off using Deva Curl's No Poo and One Conditioner for a few years -- no lather -- but the current lawsuit had me looking for alternatives. And with naturally curly hair that I color and straighten, I need a combo that repairs and/or adds moisture. After the first use, noticed the skin around my hairline was red and splotchy. It didn't itch or hurt, but it didn't look great. Second reason for three stars. It faded fast, but was jarring, for sure! That said, even after the first use, I noticed my hair was shinier and softer, with more body. That, I'll take! Might up the review to four stars if over more uses my hair continues to be this soft and the redness doesn't get worse. Will update in a bit... Oh, and I can't say I knew what Ylang Ylang smelled like when I bought this. It's a bit perfumey smelling and not as natural as a smell like lavender, but I;m not holding the fact that I don't want to buy it in candle form against the product. It's a to each his/her own type thing.I included pics only to show the bottles themselves, which are really nice actually, all embossed and everything, and pretty to look at, but you'll you'll also see the tamper/purity seal wasn't exactly closed (another reason for the star ding.) Thought I'd share that too.

My hair is very dry and damaged from dying it for the last 12 years! This set is amazing on my hair! It’s been very hard to find the right shampoo & conditioner for my hair. It doesn’t make it look greasy after hair is dried. My ends feel very nice after rinsing. I only wash my hair 2x a week! It smells amazing! It isn’t filled with 500 different ingredients. You will love this shampoo and conditioners makes my hair feel amazing! I am loving this! I will continue buying this brand(:

((Pros & cons below!))My hair type:•2B - 3A•Natural red hair, so each strand of hair is thicker & coarser than all other hair colors.•Thick hair, recently cut it short to remove previously damaged hair due to box dye. Super healthy now.Pros:-vegan-low waste-excludes most harmful ingredients commonly found in popular hair care brands-includes quality ingredients-Doesn’t make my hair frizzy-Makes my hair soft w/out needing to use much conditioner or other products-None of the scents are overpowering in my opinion.-Barely any split ends.Potential con:-Do know that their products contain perfume, so if you are weary of that, then avoid them. I don’t mind the perfume since their products still moisturize my hair, are so eco-friendly, and smell great.-Unsure of whether or not it’s suitable for very curly hair (3B to 4C).
