Definitely waterproof.
Very comfy, right from the first wear. Quite expensive, but I have bought cheaper ones that didn't live upto the waterproof claims.

Waterproof feature failed within one year — warranty not honoured
Purchased these shoes specifically for their Gore-Tex waterproof rating. Within a year of normal use on wet grass, my feet were getting wet after every round. I contacted ECCO customer service to pursue the 3-year waterproof warranty and after more than 6 months of follow-up, I have received no resolution and no meaningful response. I have been a loyal ECCO customer and have purchased multiple pairs over the years. This experience has made me reconsider future purchases. A premium product with a premium warranty should be backed by responsive customer service — that has not been my experience here. If you are considering these shoes, be aware that warranty support may be difficult to obtain.
