Freeze-dried blackcurrants with loads of taste
Given that, probably because Ribena buys up all supplies of blackcurrants, it's impossible to buy fresh ones, these are the best substitute I've found.

Edible dry, but better reconstituted
Bought these on spec during lockdown in case I couldn't get the frozen variety and have been using them sporadically for several months. They came quickly and the package is easily resealed to conserve the product and flavour. I add them to my morning muesli. They are fine dry, but I prefer the flavour and texture after I've soaked them for a while. I'm guessing that they could also be crushed to a powder to make a drink or added to a smoothie, but I've not attempted that.

Gigantic bag for 100g fruit
Flavour great-value ok considering it’s freeze dried. Bag was unnecessarily big though, 100gms in a packet bigger than A4. Not environmentally friendly

Definitely worth trying
I know blackcurrants are highly nutritious which was my main reason for getting this as I can never find fresh ones anywhere. I thought it would be good for the children especially. It is a bit pricey for me for the amount you get but the quality of the ingredients is very good. At the moment I have used it sprinkled on top of muesli but I’m also planning on adding it into smoothies. I was impressed by the quality so I have ordered another one of frozen raspberries from the same company.

Tasty blackcurrants, I’ll buy these again
The blackcurrants are very tasty and I’ve been rehydrating them and adding them into baking. Very delicious. They don’t weigh very much as there’s no water when dehydrated, so you get quite a lot of them for 100g. They arrived promptly and in a nice resealable bag
