Integral 64GB USB Memory 3.0 Flash Drive Fusion Metal Casing up to 90MB/s , Silver

I needed something very portable that could be left in my MacBook without any worries of losing or breaking it. Also, I looked for a very fast storage, so I opted in for USB 3.0 Integral 64GB flash drive. In addition, I did a little research on Amazon and this device looks to be the best deals for around 35 USD and it receives best reviews, so I decided to choose this one. The flash drive is sealed in the packaging, so you will be sure that it is a new product. It is really small in size and it is made out of aluminium alloy. Also, there is a little strap in case you want to attach it to your keys. The Integral USB storage flash drive is very sturdy and well made. It spots a unibody metal design and again, it is incredibly small. I haven’t seen any other USB 3.0 flash drives with 64GB of capacity yet. Tell me in the comments section if I’m wrong. For the size comparison you can take a look at the regular USB flash drive and this one. Also, it is way smaller than a regular SD card. My main complaint about regular sized USB flash drives that they stick out of the computer so much that you always need to take care of it before putting your PC or Mac into the travel bag. This is not the case here. Yes, it does it stick out a little, but I had no issues with it while leaving it in my Macbook and travelling. It stays really firm and there is a little chance of breaking it. Reading and writing speeds are very fast, which makes it a perfect device. All in all, I can definitely recommend this product as it lets you forget about all those bulky USB flash drives. This is one sturdy, good looking and compact device. The only disadvantage is that it is so small that you may lose it if you just throw it in your bag. My advice is that you either leave it in your PC or Mac or attach it to your keys with the supplied strap.

After having another drive with similar specs fail on me, I decided to give this Integral Drive a go. It's definitely small! I know that's one of the headline features of this drive and is well conveyed, but I don't think it's truly apparent until you have it in your hand. And whilst a small drive makes for a greater chance of losing it, Integral have definitely thought this through and ensured that the device has a strong attachment point and included a good quality, if a little fiddly, lanyard. Build quality in general is very good, the drive is sturdy and gives me no reason to feel cautious whilst carrying it. My Windows 8 PC recognises the drive almost before I've finished putting it in, and I have not had any issues with its operation whatsoever. Read and write speeds are up to the stated spec (when used in a USB 3.0 port) and are definitely fast enough for my uses (often writing folders of 200+ 50mb raw image files in around 5 to 10 minutes). Altogether a very good compact drive, that performs well with no hiccups, for a very good price!

128Gb USB 3.0 drive that is absolutely tiny. The aluminium body feels very robust and is so compact that it is hardly noticeable when plugged in to a USB port. In use the drive offers good read/write access speeds. Not blisteringly fast but more than adequate for most tasks. This drive is ideal to just pop into your keyring so that you can carry all the files you possibly are likely to need. I bought this when it dropped in price to £27.99 after having watched it hovering around the £55-£65 mark for months. I can recommend this drive for its capacity, aluminium body and tiny physical size and value for money at the price I paid. In fact... I like it so much, I think i will buy another one :-)

This is a very small drive, small enough to leave in your laptop if you wish and won't add much bulk to your keyring. Its seamless all metal casing makes it solid in feel and I have every expectation of it being very durable. The benchmarked read speed when connected via USB 3 is very impressive at ~150MB/s while the write is rather slower at only ~10MB/s, in both cases the access time is 0.6ms. The slower write is to be expected unless you pay a premium for a bulkier drive explicitly designed for faster writes (Sandisk Extreme 3.0 for eg). When using USB 2.0 the device will write at the same speed and read at just under 40MB/s (the limit for USB2). I have two of these drives, one for every day keyring storage and the other has Linux Mint installed on it, allowing me to boot any PC from USB and have my personal operating system with me - the high read speed is great for this, it boots faster than from the hard drive in my laptop but large software updates which write to the disk can be a little slow. Very small. Pc detected it fast. Most impressive is i wanted it for mp3 for the car nd the transfer rate in the blue used port on the pc was really fast. Worked a treat in the car

Good USB stick, even if only Gen 1

I bought the Integral Metal Fusion 64 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive as plug-in storage for my laptop so that I could work on some project files and be able to transfer them between devices. I have included some photos of the drive and the small lanyard together with a ruler so you can see just how small it is. The flash drive slots into the USB 3.0 port on the side of my laptop easily, and does not stick out that much, keeping a very discreet profile. I ran some basic file copy tests just to see what speeds I was getting and the sample file I used was a 2.20 GB MP4 video file and then a folder with about 4,000 JPG image files in it, at roughly 1 MB per image. Copying to the USB flash drive I was getting a write speed of 24.5 to 29.5 MB/s on average. And copying from the USB flash drive I was getting a read speed of 200 MB/s consistently. The flash drive does not appear to get insanely hot, or overheat, like some other makes I have had in the past. Overall I am delighted with its performance and I think it is fantastic value for the price! I am planning on getting another one of these flash drives to use as a plug-in / leave-in USB flash drive for my smart TV.

Why is this a good choice for a USB memory stick? It’s an all metal construction. The plastic usb sticks become very brittle over time, they crumble and fall apart. I personally will never buy the plastic types ever again. This little unit is robust, extremely compact and fast. If you’re looking at specs for “read & write speeds” then you’re probably quite anal and should go and spend £200 on something that’ll give you the 1% extra that this device won’t. I use this for storing my kids favourite programs on and it stays pretty much stuck in the side of the living room tv. ALL the usb devices become warm (if not hot) quite quickly when left permanently plugged in (hence the plastic one’s becoming brittle) but with this all metal type it’s never been an issue. I also use this type to store all my music on and leave it permanently connected in my car (5 series), it gets warm in that too, but again it’s never been a problem. I purchased the 256Gb version for around £28 which I feel is very good value, but that’s just my personal opinion. I’m very happy to recommend this memory stick (including the 128Gb version).

Petits défaut à pardonner : -Comme toute clé USB, l'espace de stockage est mal prononcé : elle peut supporter (presque) 32 Gio ce qui donne 28,88 Go. -Le transfert USB 3.0 est très rapide mais chauffe beaucoup plus que l'USB 2.0, attention à vos doigts après un gros transfert. Rappel : Pour bénéficier de la rapidité USB 3.0, votre ordinateur doit avoir un port USB 3.0, sinon le débit de transfert sera réduit à la génération du port USB (2.0 ; 1.1 ; 1.0). Tiny, which is nice, but needs to come with a better lanyard as I wanted this for my keychain. Ended up buying a split ring used for fishing and a small clip.

Velocidad de lectura sobre 105 MB/s y de 20 MB/s en escritura USB 3.0. 25 MB/s lectura y 12 MB/s escritura en USB 2.0. Se calienta algo, pero es normal. El espacio disponible en la unidad de 32 GB es de 28.8 GB. El tiempo de entrega lo habitual en envíos internacionales: 4 días. Merece la pena gastarse unos pocos Euros mas y tener la velocidad que tiene esta memoria USB 3.0.

una chiavetta usb veramente piccola, se non si sta attenti si rischia di perderla nessun problema nè con windows 7 nè con windows 8 e neppure con ios non ho fatto alcun test sulla velocità effettiva ma molto più veloce di qualsiasi usb 2 in mio possesso anche di marche forse più blasonate

This 64gb micro usb is exactly as described. It is lightweight, despite thr outer body being metal. It holds about 57.6gb, not the full 64gb, which is to be expected. The rest of the space was probably taken up by software within the key. It worked automatically, no download needed as should be the case. I am holding Scrivener files in it now and everything seems fine. No problems so far. It sticks out more than I would like, but that is not really a problem for me, just a matter of personal taste. Very happy. Plan to order another.
