Works well for our Shichon puppy. He doesn’t mind being brushed with it.

I have a Schnoodle. Most of her fur is thick and curly. This brush worked very well to get through those curls and detangler her. My dog doesn’t like to be brushed and she sat still when I was using this one. I like the quality, it’s very well built. I’m a happy doggy mama with a very happy doggy.

So I bought this brush for my cat after the two other brushing tools we got just irritated the hell out of him. One of them was a pretty popular brush here on Amazon that used retracting metal bristles, but I think that was too rough on the cat's skin. The other was a brushing glove, which he liked at first, but pretty quickly fixated on and would just try to bite rather than let us brush him with it. This brush he actually seems to really like, especially going straight down his back. He even does that thing some cats do when you pet them straight down their back where at the end of the pet their butts bounce up a little bit! The brush doesn't collect quite as much hair as the other two did, but I will take some hair collection that doesn't potentially hurt my cat over either total collection with a side of pain, or no collection at all. My only gripe so far as been that it is a bit difficult to remove the hair from the brush after brushing. However, I think this might be more because my cat is a short hair, so there isn't too much hair in the brush, and it is all collecting right at the bottom of the bristles where it is harder to reach. Still really glad I got this brush, and would recommend it to anyone who has had issues with their pet's sensitivity towards other brushing means.

This was exactly what I was looking for to replace a worn out brush. My dog has fine silky hair and I needed a brush that was gentle on his skin and his coat is not dense. This is perfect.

This brush had a good many positives. It’s easy to hold, light weight, I liked the plastic bristles/ball on the end, price isn’t bad, hair is easy to remove. However, I found it had a big negative - it didn’t remove the hair nearly as well as I expected. I get there are not a bunch of bristles close together so it wouldn’t get a ton BUT I have a long hair cat - I used this during spring/shedding season - it hardly got any hair out. He doesn’t allow me to brush for long so I have to maximize my time by finding a great brush and this was not it. However, it’s not a total loss, it is great for maintenance and he is a little more friendly with the softer bristles of this brush vs others.

I LOVE this brush! I recently adopted a Doggo after the death of my beloved girl, and this new girl has long fur! I've never had a dog with long fur & didn't have a clue about what brushes to buy/use. I bought one with the brush tips “untipped” and it didn't seem right so looking around found this brush to replace my 30 yrs old dog brush (cracking in half so old) and I love this brush, and so does my dog! It's easy to use & clean. It removes small mats. It gives a nice brush for the dog & smoothing the hair down. I also have a mat rake for the thick fur, I used that even on my shorthair dog during shed time to remove the undercoat that was falling out, during the shedding season. LOVE this brush! It's exactly what I need & was looking for! Easy to clean too!

We have a new puppy. He is a Japanese Akita who has a double coat and this brush works great on his fur! It is the first brush he actually likes to be brushed with! 🐕💕

This is a great brush. It doesn’t hurt my dog. He’s a little Pomeranian with lots of hair and he’ll let me sit there and brush him for an hour with this. It doesn’t bother him at all and it removes the hair great

This is great! One of my cats has a very thick (but short) coat and can get little matts in it. I have tried so many brushes and he hates all of them, but this one he hates the least. I even get a little purr sometimes when I am grooming him. Little but often seems to do the trick.

My 6 month old cavapoochon has yet to go for a cut wash and blow dry - I'm doing what I can to maintain his longer look and this brush is helping. I've no previous experience of dog owning or grooming and have kitted myself out with a fair few things I've realised I could have managed well enough without, but I'm glad I've got this. It's no replacement for a decent slicker for properly removing hair and keeping his coat from matting, but this ploughs through the big knots gently and warms him up for what's to come. A winner for us both!
