Kinetic Sand - Sandbox & Molds Deluxe Activity Set

If your like me and hide the play doh because of all the snitchel pieces everywhere and stuck in your carpet, this is the answer. This stuff is amazing and very easy clean up. It's texture is similar to brown sugar, but not sticky or messy at all. I do like the brown nutrual color best as it's the most pliable and softer than the colored sand. If your thinking of trying the off brands, please don't waste your money. Most of the other brands are clumpy and have a very strong chemical smell. This set is perfect as it includes the box to use as the sand box and to contain the toys. You can store everything inside. I simple put the 2 different colored sands in zip lock bags and store everything inside neatly!

A pamphlet of ideas for the kids to visually see what sand castles look like would have been a great addition. The convertible box for the placement of the sand is quite flimsy. Yet, overall it is a great idea for kids as oppose to the messy sand boxes.

This sand is awesome, when you get it, it's pretty hard you have to play with it a little bit. But it's pretty sweet. The sand containers are fragile, mine were both destroyed, I used a cookie sheet which I think works better, my daughter who is almost 2 loved it, she understood what to do, I supervised her, but she was done playing with it. A lot ended up on the ground and we mixed the blue and brown and so we had enough, 1 pound is not very much. The molds are great, I had fun playing with it. I think the more you use it the better it is. A freestanding sand pit would be the best for this. Definitely need more sand.

Great gift for my granddaughter! Just don't by from amazon. Target has this for $25.00. I should have read the reviews before I bought it. I thought amazon prices were more competitive than that.

Had only five of the ten molds promised. The trays are connected and fairly shallow. The sand is a lot of fun though.

This stuff is almost better than a day at the beach! The kids love it & so do I! It holds its shape perfectly & can be molded into anything. If it lands on the carpet, it picks right back up. Any residual cleans up easily by vacuuming. We have it in all the colors so there's lots of variety in the crayo creations the boys produce. The kids spend hours molding and making scenes!

It is messy. And some of the sand is way to soft and breaks apart easily. And its was not as fun as the commercial says. My kids kept complaining that the sand was just falling apart when they tried to make something

Grandson loved this. He's in Hawaii, so he can use it year round.
