Is this knife worth the money? Also is the sheath good quality?

The sp1 is absolutely worth the money. 1095 steel, 3/16 thick blade. Sometimes you can even get it for around 25. The sheath is ok . not the best but not the worst either.

Will the sheath belt loop fit a 2.25 width standard us military pistol belt?

I don’t have a belt to test fit, but it looks like it would be a tight fit. I measured the opening with a micrometer and it is 2.3”. Hope this helps.

How long is the blade and what carbon steel does this use

Ontario is making these from 1075 Carbon Steel that is heat-treated to 57-59 HRC (Rockwell hardness). 1075 is less prone to "plate-stacking" resulting in the edge chipping than 1095. You'll appreciate this when it comes to hard use. The 1075 Carbon Steel holds up better and will sharpen quickly.
