Super soft sensation, even on severe sunburn
I admittedly bought these AFTER I had been severely sunburned for two reasons. First, everything I wore hurt my sunburn -- shoulders, chest (I have a large one at that), and arms (wrist to shoulder). I couldn't wear anything without wanting to cry. I also knew I had to go back to work after a week of laying around with only a tube type bra on, and being unable to use aloe because I'm allergic to it. I also knew I couldn't be in the sun in my freshly healing skin without sunscreen (which I couldn't put on yet because my skin was still blistered and flaming red). Then, in a stroke of genius I looked for some UPF long sleeve shirts and found these. They are very soft, and didn't hurt my sunburn at all. The blisters didn't stick to it as they were breaking either. I could feel the warmth of the sun through the shirts, but it didn't hurt my skin. I am however, cold in them. I don't feel warm at all when wearing them. The fabric is heavy, feels high quality and feels well made. But I am not sure if I could have worn it in the 98 degree sun that I got burned in (under a cabana btw, reflection burn is real!)I ended up buying 4 more and some of the hooded ones too. I really love them and look forward to being able to hike and kayak in them this fall and winter.

Excellent shirt!
I’ve been trying to find a good wicking shirt for hiking/outdoor activities. I’m a plus sized gal and I absolutely hate thin fabric that shows my rolls. I’ve tried many different wicking shirts (both women and men sizes), and none have worked for me (too thin, too snug, too short, etc). Read the reviews on this and liked how some said the shirt was thicker/heavier than normal. Decided to give it a try. Ordered the white in 5X (normal size 2-3X). I was hesitant because I had a hiking trip planned for southwest Texas. In August. I thought maybe I d be too hot, but I wasn’t! The shirt worked out perfectly! It’s was loose enough to be airy and long enough to cover my hips. The (slightly) heavier fabric didn’t cling. It was just right. Didn’t think it would matter, but I love the thumb holes! They kept my hands protected from the sun while allowing my fingers to be used (hiking poles). The hood came in handy as I was only wearing a baseball cap, leaving my ears and neck exposed. Just slipped the hood over my head and problem solved! Again… nice and airy-not hot. Definitely recommend this shirt!

Great shirt but Size up if you have bigger hips
I bought this shirt for hiking and being outside. The material is buttery soft and very comfortable on the skin. The arm length and the thumb holes are perfect. This shirt is measured by chest and waist size. So I purchased based on those. My waist is 45 inches and the shirt fits great in those two areas. But I have large hips and the shirt is a little snug in the hip area. while I have been wearing it around the house the tulip hem keeps riding up to my waist because it is too small.I love the shirt, but I’m going to try the next size up to see if it fits my hips better.

weird shape, not as colorful as photo
to be fair maybe it’s me that has a weird shape (pear) but this shirt didn’t work for me at all.most shirts are loose in the bust and tight in the hips for me, but this one was extreme:may be great for someone of the opposite shape to mine.also the color was VERY pastel almost whitish, when i had hoped/expected something more like a light purple/ lavender.

Love it mostly
I’m allergic to heat/sun and had to get this for when I’m driving around in the summer.I had gotten another shirt a few weeks before, but that shirt felt a little plastic-y, didn’t have a good, or the holes for the thumbs.ProsThis shirt is great! It’s soft which is a big thing for me (autistic). It’s got thumb holes which are not just fun to use but they help the shirt protect my hands from the sun as well. It’s got a hood and it’s deep enough that it’s still able to cover my face/past my hair line when I’ve got my hair up in a high bun. It’s not too tight.ConsIt’s a little thicker than I thought it would be, which can add to the heat some when I first go outside. My biggest issue with the shirt is that there is a seam in the arm that when you have your thumbs in the thumb holes, the seam runs straight through the middle of your palms. This pushes in when you’re driving, which I’m not a big fan of.

Not to Size
I reviewed the size chart and measurements and bought accordingly. The shirt is super tight and not true to size for me.Also, the thumb holes are on the wrong side of the sleeves making it so you have to twist the sleeve to get the holes on the right side.I am not impressed.

Comfortable
I have had several severe skin reactions to plants out in the yard. I purchased this to to work out in the garden. I was worried that the shirt would be super hot when working outside in the warmer months, but it is not bad at all. The fabric is very comfortable and breathes. The thumb holes are useful to keep your entire hand and wrist covered when wearing gardening gloves. I would highly recommend this for gardeners looking for protection.

Sun protection for this Auto-Immune compromised gardener.
In all reality, I wish I didn’t need these shirts, but due to the medicine I am taking, I must cover up from the sun. Soft, soft, soft, I cringed at the idea of covering up for I used to be a lifeguard), but so far, even for days in the 80’s, the shirt has kept me cool and outside doing what I love—-puttering in the dirt with my flowers and vegetable garden. They fit beautifully—but I get mine bigger because I cannot stand tight clothes. I would HIGHLY recommend these shirts. Color-wise, I am more prone to get bright colors, but that is not possible.
