A good starter retinol. I didn’t experience irritation, although I introduced it gradually as recommended in the instructions. The only downside is that the product doesn’t state the retinol concentration, which would have been helpful. That said, it does work, just after a few weeks my skin feels smoother and looks more glowing.

At full price there are more cost effective alternatives but when discounted enough you can be sure Neutrogena will deliver a good result. Results are good when used overnight and complemented with a moisturiser to lock it in. Skin feels soft and wrinkles reduced. One negative is a little oily when applying. Use sparingly so cost effective or the product can take a little time to absorb. 8/10 when discounted price. 6/10 when full price because other brands offer same results cheaper.

I usually use La Roche's retinol serum but thought I'd try this out as it worked out cheaper. This one feels much more oily but that actually makes it easier to apply and it feels like it's lasting a lot longer. It dries on the face quickly and then it's ready for a moisturiser on top, so it doesn't feel oily once on. It's impossible to tell if it works / what the actual retinol percentage is in this, but so far I prefer this to the other brands.

It feels gentle on my skin without causing irritation or dryness, which can sometimes happen with retinol products. That said, I haven’t noticed any significant improvement in my skin’s appearance or texture yet. My skin feels hydrated, but I was hoping for more visible effects like smoother or brighter skin based on the product claims. Maybe it needs more time, or my skin just doesn’t respond as well to this formula. Overall, it’s an okay serum if you’re looking to try retinol without harsh effects, but don’t expect dramatic results right away.

I’m actually noticing my skin feel plump and moist. The price is great compared to competitors. I’m noticing the effectiveness after 4 weeks. It’s easy to use and store, just make sure it’s away from sunlight and at a cool dry place. Will be buying another bottle once mine finishes.

Skin feels nice the morning after. When applying it feels quite greasy though. Great value for money.

It came to me with a next day expiry date and with a weird bad smell!!!!
