MAKE THE PIZZA CRUST!!!!!
This book has 3 very good recipes that are in constant rotation in my house. The Old fashioned Biscuits are fluffy not dense. I've had great success making them with almond milk and even flax milk. In our house we call them cloud biscuits, you'll see why when you make them. The Pizza Crust takes some work but is hands down the BEST gf pizza crust recipe I've tried!!!! This pizza crust is BETTER than the America's test kitchen gf pizza crust from their book "The How Can It Be Gluten Free Cookbook" volume 1.The best pastry crust recipe was very easy to work with when I followed the directions exactly. The chill time in the fridge is crucial for the dough to be worked easily.Just for these 3 recipes you should buy a copy!!! These recipes get 10 stars. One recipe I didn't like at all was the Birthday Cake. My daughter liked it, but there was such an off taste that I couldn't get over. It did have a cake texture but the flavor was a problem for me. This recipe gets 2 stars.Last thing about the book, some recipes call for baby food which I thought was odd, I believe the sweet and sour chicken was one of them. I haven't tried any of the recipes that call for baby food, just a heads up for those of you who don't own the book. Overall I think it's definitely worth having!

Great kids cookbook
This book has many easy recipes. It’s nice for gluten free children to know they have choices. The recipes give dairy free options for the recipes too. It made a good gift.

More pictures please
There are a lot of good recipes, but I guess I assumed it was more geared for kids and that there would be more pictures. We don’t cookout of it often because there are several pages with no pictures of the food.

Great for Celiac Kids!!
Great easy to make recipes for my newly diagnosed grandaughter. She was so worried about food limitations, especially, chicken nuggets and muffins. I sent this to her and she has made several meals from it.

Complicated ingredients | not written for kids
This was a gift for my son who is Celiac like me. My non Celiac son (11) received ATK’s Complete Cookbook for Young Chefs and I was looking for a CD equivalent. Unfortunately, this book is not it. My 8 year old disliked the wordy pages and lack of pictures. While the recipes are brief and appear simple, I was immediately struck by the complicated baking ingredient blends as cup for cup equivalents is how we’ve navigated our new lifestyle. Recipes range from basics we’ve already mastered to suggestions that appear to cater to more mature palates. I will be returning this cookbook for ATK’s How Can It Be Gluten Free instead. That one won’t be a kid’s cookbook chunked with ingredient lists, tools needed, and step by step photos but it will help me teach my son how to cook for himself with ingredients we already have on hand.
