Bought this for the color and lighter weight, and it is easily the best one I have ever had. It is so much easier to clean too than the LC ones, at a fraction of the price. I will be gifting one to everyone I know.

Love the pot. It’s lightweight and the best part very very easy to clean. Just add hot water and the food just falls off. I would definitely recommend others to get this.

This pot comes nicely packaged. It is light, so not real "Cast Iron" as the product page says. The box says "Cast Aluminum Cookware". It works nicely on our flat top stove and was very easy to clean. Looking at the comparable items, the price looks high.

Modern colors and finishes works well in the kitchen. Is very durable and stylish. Perfect gift for a friend or family member.

Ordered this to replace a smaller Teflon Dutch Oven I have owned for many years that was scratched and worn. Was looking for a large Dutch Oven that would work on induction, electric and gas cookers: an added bonus of this is it is oven safe. Because it is cast aluminum, it is much lighter than cast iron and has properties of cast iron.The color of the inside of the pot is a different shade than outside, a dark turquoise inside and navy outside, which is visible in the listing photos: for me it would be more pleasing if the inside were a completely different color than looking mismatched, but maybe it has to do with the material of the inside and the outside?I haven't tried putting this in the freezer yet, but both top and pot went through the dishwasher well and it would be easier to wash by hand than cast iron. Regular cast iron is hard to clean and too heavy for me to handle. Price point is something to compare to other similar products. A set of silicon oven mitts that match the inside of the pot's dark turquoise color are a nice touch.

My wife has been making sourdough bread in our cast iron dutch oven. I've been helping her put it in and out of the oven because it's so heavy. This aluminum one is light enough she can handle it herself. I think it heats up and cools off faster than cast iron so cooking times need to be adjusted some. This first loaf came out a little darker than she wanted. Be advised on the first use it smokes. It set off our smoke detector. So use the stove exhaust fan the first time you use it. I assume it's burning off oils and volatiles from manufacturing. The pan doesn't look any different so it's not burning the pan. In the end it's an easier dutch oven to use in the oven than our cast iron one with legs on it.

The media could not be loaded. Very tight seal and even cooking for a Dutch Cooker that isn’t overly heavy.The handle is excellent and is easy to pickup with the included silicone gloves.I cooked 2 pounds of beef cubes for beef stew at one time easily and my normal recipe fit in without any problems.I let the stew cook and then cool down for an hour sealed ,no liquid escaping and food was still at 155 degrees from simmer.Cleaned up vey easy ,very nice coating and no areas for food to cling to.This is a nice well made Dutch Oven,an excellent gift for the cooking person in the home or for yourself.Should last a very long time.
