do these fit a 2000 4.8 silverado?

This spark plug wire set fit perfectly on my 2004 Silverado 4.8......

Silverado owners, do the factory heat shields that come on your original spark plug wires fit on these wires? Or do these not require heat shields?

Heat sheilds fit these cable, so please take them off with care unless you plan to buy news and don't care.

Does it effect anything if I get the longer ones?

No it will not affect anything. There were 2 different coils and so 2 different sets of wires. I bought the longer ones and they work fine. Just make sure that are not touching the exhaust manifold.
