I bought two of these prior to going to Iceland and was very pleased I did. The scarf attached was really useful and kept my neck and mouth warm. It tucked nicely under my Ski Coat. The hood has a draw string to pull it tight over your head. The inside has a warm lining and a waterproof outer. Considering the freezing temperatures and gale force winds I experienced it was most effective. The Hood is slightly too large for me but I found that you could tuck it down at the back into the scarf and it stayed there.

This arrived before due date. Wore around the house to see how the fit was, it was nice and snug not tight but you have drawstrings to pull it tighter. I wear glasses so this is good as it does not cover your mouth and therefore could steam up my glasses. I have yet to wear it outdoors but it feels very sturdy and warm.

Bought this for a skiing trip. It is a moderately large one size fits all but fits my head great as I have a big head! (It also has adjustment strings either side to tighten the fit). It has a fleecy inside head and neck material, which is comfortable against the skin and a waterproof outer layer for the head part. The material is about a centimetre thick so nice and warm as well as protecting you from the chilly winds!

I bought this to walk my puppy when it's raining, although I wouldn't win any awards for looks!Works perfectly as it is not only waterproof, it keeps my head warm as well. The snood effect keeps my neck warm in the gap between coat and hat without the need for a scarf.Good value for money.

Quite possibly my the best snood I've ever owned ...west coast scotland postman here it will keep you dry and very warm in the harshest weathers plenty of room at the side and top so could wear a big chunky headphone underneath easy ..the cut is good so it doesnt look like a cone pointed hatWould defiantly recommend these to anyone who works outside or walks dogs etc

Bought for husband as he works outside in all weathers and doesn't want to wear bulky coats with hoods or hats that could fall off easily. The hood has a draw string to pull it tight around your face and the inside has a soft lining and waterproof outer. The fleecy scarf around the neck keeps you warm. Other reviews mention it not being waterproof but my husband hasn't found this to be a problem as he tucks it into his jacket. Once it stops raining, the hood can easily be removed and placed somewhere to dry before the next downpour!

This is the best hoodie/ hat balaclava, I've purchaced over the years, being an aircraft engineer for nearly 25years most of it working outside in exposed weather conditions I've had a few different bits of headgear to keep me warm. This beats them all. It's well insulated keeping the wind out, keeping your neck and head warm. it has a draw cord (be nice if it had some plastic toggles to secure fitting which would make it perfect) to pull in when the wind picks up, and you get good periffory vision. Good resistance to the rain too. Going to get a spare one.

If you want something to keep you warm, protect you from the rain then this item will not fail to please. Its easy to put on and with the adjustment available you can make it to your fit.
