Celeb Luxury Viral Copper for Brunettes Honest Review and Tips
I have been using Celeb Luxury products for a couple of years, after my stylist recommended the brand. My natural hair color is warm black with some white hairs sprinkled throughout. The last time I had my hair colored was over a year ago. It was a short black bob with magenta highlights throughout. Now my hair is past my shoulders and I have managed to keep up the color on my own, with the option to experiment! WASH ROUTINE: My stylist suggested that I use the Celeb Luxury shampoo and my regular conditioner because the products can be drying. I pre-wash my hair with cool/lukewarm water and a color-safe shampoo. Then I gently towel dry my hair as much as possible. This REALLY helps to keep the color from splashing everywhere. Using gloves, I apply the Celeb Luxury shampoo in a couple of sections and let it sit on top of my head as I finish showering. I rinse in cool water really well, because I feel like it can build up. Then I condition and style. I make sure to alternate the color depositing shampoos with regular shampoo on wash days, because the product can be drying and the pigment does build up over time. I usually end up leaving the Viral Colorwash on for 5 to 10 minutes. However, the first time I used the Copper for Brunettes, I left it on for 30 minutes with a shower cap and the outcome was AMAZING. The color was soooo vibrant and shiny. However, I don't recommend doing that every time to keep your hair healthy. BTW--i used the shampoos with a fresh ear piercing, and did not notice any irritation. CLEAN UP: Make your life easier and wear gloves. It can stain your nails. Easy to clean up from the shower/tile/sink. Washes off skin in the shower but might stain your scalp. The color washes right out of my towels, even if they sit for awhile. Haven't noticed any staining on my pillows or car seat LOL. GREY COVERAGE: The brand does not claim to cover greys or virgin hair color, However, I am pleased that the darker colors, especially the Brunettes Line, actually tint my new white hairs! With the Viral Copper for Brunettes, they turn a pretty rose gold color that blends in like sun-kissed highlights. Even with regular shampoos in between, they still have a nice coral tint! It might not blend well if you have a solid stripe of grey new growth at the roots, but for 20% salt and pepper hair, it's worth a try! COPPER COLOR RESULTS: The Copper for Brunettes gives my grown-out highlights a beautiful copper-brown color--not too orange, red, or pink. It warms up and blends well with my natural black hair to mask the break between the new growth and the lighter ends. The white hairs are tinted light copper/rose-gold that lasts through a couple of washes. The deposited pigment does build up over time, so the color will keep getting darker. After awhile, my hair can seem a little dull or muddy with some buildup. I use a gentle clarifying shampoo as needed, especially when changing colors. OTHER COLORS: Over a couple of years, I have used the Viral Hot Pink shampoo and Magenta conditioner, Viral Red, Viral Purple, and Gem Lites Ruby colorwash. I also tried the Viral Light Pink and Viral Coral. While those were too light on their own, I used them to mix with the other colors. Recently, I have used the Purple for Brunettes, and now the Copper for Brunettes. I WISH they had a Hot Pink/Magenta for Brunettes! CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE: I order the products from Amazon for convenience, but I recommend checking out the Celeb Luxury website for more pictures and tips. You can learn more about mixing customized colors and reach out to the experts for advice/troubleshooting. This is especially important for color correction using the Gem Lites line, to learn if a color has warm/cool or blue/violet undertones which can have a huge impact on the final outcome of your hair color. GOOD LUCK!

Amazing will always buy this
I’ve used this product before it has been recommended to me by many hair stylists friends and I love it my only complaint is really the price it is expensive but my hair does completely fine with it I love the shampoo however the conditioner kind of dries it out but it does add lots of shine definitely makes your hair color last longer and the moisturizing from the shampoo is really good I just don’t like how the conditioner conditions my hair it’s not very soft so I use joico shampoo and conditioner to help with that but in all great product will always buy this when I need to also it made my hair look like how it did when I left the salon 😊 down below I took some pictures to show when I left the salon what it faded to after a week and how it looked after I used this shampoo and conditioner

The best shampoo for purple hair that keeps the colour vibrant!
This is really amazing! I dyed my hair purple a month and a half ago and using this Colorwash Color Depositing Shampoo has helped keep the vibrant colour in my hair this long. My hair is almost white and had to bleach it when I dyed it purple because that’s what you’re supposed to do, and even though my roots are starting to show now it has held up greatly! Shampoo isn’t cheap but it’s worth it. I use only a quarter size every 5 days when I wash my hair and it has kept it vibrant. Now I’ll go to retouch the colour at the salon and will keep on using this shampoo. Highly recommended

Great product but you’ll loose hair
Love the product! Wear gloves when you use it and clean up right away if anything gets on something it will stain. Downside I lost a lot of hair and it feels dry after so deep conditioner when time is right. It didn’t color my roots which is odd. Other than that I love it. I would love to transition to one of the lighter colors but my hair is red wine right now so I don’t think it would even take.

Great color that lasts
I have dark hair and had it dyed red for a bit at a salon. I wanted to keep the red look going without the salon price. This is a great price and lasts a long time. This stuff works amazing! Does it stain skin? Yes, it's red folks and dye. So of course it stains. Use gloves just like any other coloring. But the color lasts a long time and no bad smell. It foams just like a shampoo also. Highly recommend this. Its lasted me a few years to be honest because you only need a little at a time. I use it once a week but have gone out to 2 or 3 weeks and the color lasts with only slight fading which is great for a red color considering salon red fades.

Adds color, but definitely has tradeoffs...
I bought this product to enhance my color in between trips to the salon. While it certainly helps, the benefit of color comes with some pretty meaningful tradeoffs. 1) It dries out your hair. At this point, you've probably bleached your hair anyway, so it already feels a bit dry, but this product will definitely make it feel worse. If you want to use this product and NOT feel like you have a head of straw, you're going to need some deep conditioning treatments to really bring the moisture back to your hair. Extra conditioner during your shower and long rinses alone are not enough (though they certainly help a little). 2) More than normal breakage/hair fallout. Likely linked to number 1, you're going to see a lot more hair swirling down your drain. I'm always shocked when I run conditioner through my hair after using this product and I end up pulling out clumps of hair at a time. While it doesn't look like I'm missing huge patches of hair when I'm all done styling, it's still pretty alarming to see so much fallout when you're not used to it. 3) The color stains. I mean, of all the tradeoffs, this one is pretty manageable. It's a vibrant color, so you can see when you've splashed some on the walls or floor of the shower---- just tidy up after each use, so that it doesn't really set because once it sets, you'll see a purple stain. 4) The color also stains your fingernails (I never see it on my hands, but my nails always look pale purple or kind of sickly after I've used this product). The stain on my nails typically washes out by the next day, and if you have painted nails, you'd probably never even see the staining to begin with.... so again, this is pretty manageable. Either way, fun colors are a lot of work, and this product can certainly help deal with some of the fading. However, at this point, I'm not convinced that this is the best solution. I'm considering trying Overtone next.

Wear protective gloves.
I don't have color treated hair, purchased Tahitian Brown to darken my gray, done a good job! The color isn't drastic but darkened just enough without looking like a box color. I shampooed my hair with my usual shampoo and while hair was wet I applied a generous amount of Tahitian brown and left it on for about a hour. The price is steep but I have very short hair and will get 2-3 months of color out of one bottle this is a win-win for me. BTW this looks green/gray while on wet hair but rinses out completely.

Works on dark hair!
My daughter dyed her hair with permanent black/purple dye a few months ago and wanted some pink in her hair but didn’t want to bleach it. I got this for her and she used it twice and her hair is the prettiest chocolate cherry color now. She loves it!
