Don't know what cylinder size you need?1 - Open you door & locate the cylinder fixing bolt at the side2 - Take a ruler and from the centre of the fixing bolt hole measure to the end of the outside handle (measurement A)It's very important that you make sure the outside cylinder measurement will not cause the cylinder to protrude from the handle and stick out, otherwise your cylinder could be vulnerable to lock snapping!3 - Measure from the centre of the fixing bolt hole to the end of the inside handle (measurement B)Please note - DO NOT TAKE OUT AND MEASURE YOUR CURRENT CYLINDER AS IT MAY NOT BE THE CORRECT SIZE! 4 - You will now have 2 measurements (A and B). Round up to the nearest 5mm, i.e. if measurement 'A' is 34mm, round it up to 35mm5 -Put measurements 'A' and 'B' together & this is the size cylinder you will need.Example:Measurement 'A' = 35cmMeasurement 'B' (Thumb Turn) = 50cmCylinder Size Needed = 35/50T (85mm)Thumb turns are on the 'T' side of any code (please see image). Each cylinder is packed full of security features & is a great choice for inexpensive home security installation. Each cylinder is packed full of security features, and is part of Tradelocks' super smooth cylinders using the Chris Belcher designed anti-bump timing pin system. This very clever system uses nickel plated hardened steel key pins and driver pins, which gives an anti-drill feature. The Patented timing pins are designed to interrupt the timing of the pins when bumped, and it is highly effective against lock bumping. The timing pins also have inbuilt anti-picks, and mushroom driver pins, which makes them highly effective against picking!
