I herniated a disc in my back almost a year and a half ago, and I struggle with finding support because I am very petite. At 5ft1, I couldn't find a chair with which I could touch the ground, and also find back support; most office chairs are built for 5ft10 men it seems! This chair arrived days earlier than expected, was super easy to assemble, and fits me perfectly. It is supportive enough, but not overly rigid or uncomfortable like some can be. I find myself with less sciatica than I normally had; for someone with a chronic back injury, I was in tears the first day of using this chair because I hadn't had a pain-free full day at a desk in so long. It is incredible to have found something so perfect. I had to look at hundreds of designs websites, etc for a chair that fit AND was supportive enough, and this is it. It is reasonably priced, and checks all of my boxes. My orthopedic is thrilled! The style is the least important component to me, but even that is great- it looks modern and mature enough for any adult in the black color. My cousin actually gave me a desk chair that fit me (from a similar company) for free a few days after I received this one. I torn, because I love this chair, but I had now received one for free that also sort of fit. The next day, I got a genuinely hand-written note from the company's customer resource team, asking if I had any questions, wanted/needed anything, etc. It was the most personal communication I have ever gotten from a company- literally hand-written on a Hallmark little "thank you" note- and for that, I will not even consider returning this chair. This is the kind of company I want to be a customer of, and I will be for life. It sounds silly, but knowing that someone took the time to communicate personally and ensure that I'm happy, other than an an Amazon-automated survey, shows me that they do genuinely care about their customers. I cannot recommend this chair, or this company, enough.

What we liked was everything. Took as long to open the box and get out the parts as it took to put the chair together. About 2 minutes. No tools. It's not leather, it's better. Appears to be a modern water resistant fabric on the seat and back. Well padded. Extremely comfortable. The arm rests aren't padded, but padded rests always became a mess. They were usually padded vinyl and the vinyl would crack and peel, becoming a mess. Smooth, padded vinyl is comfortable; cracked, peeling vinyl is not. My cousin is very short; 4' 8". This is the first chair she's been able to sit in and place her feet on the floor in her life. She's used a special foot rest her former employer purchased for her 30 yrs ago to get some relief from back pain caused by her feet hanging unsupported. We pushed back the seat and she can sit back in the chair. Her lower back is up against the lumbar swell, giving her support; a first. She doesn't have to scoot forward to get her feet on the floor, they touch naturally. We've purchased chairs that 'said' they were designed for short people before. They listed in their specs that seat height was as low as 14 1/2". She needs 14" - 14 1/2". They all turned out to be 15 1/2" to 17", and she never was able to be comfortable without the work footrest. With this chair, she's really comfortable, almost totally so, for the first time in her life. We had hoped that the child's foot rest would work for her, but for once her legs are too long. That's the closest we can come to a negative comment about the Sit-rite chair. If you're small in stature, petite, tiny or short or any other word for diminutive, buy this chair. Doubt you'll be disappointed. Update: Liked it soooooooooo much, we purchased a second chair. Now she has a chair at her computer desk and at the table so she can eat in comfort too. In her 75 years, these are the only chairs that have allowed her to sit back, get support for her back and still allow her feet to touch the floor, a godsend for her. As I said before, takes longer to open the box and unpack the parts (5), than it does to assemble the chair.

I'm a 5 foot, 100lbs adult woman and this chair is perfectly proportioned for my size. Seat is cushy, the foot rest is well placed. Arm rests not adjustable but at a good height and still able to slide completely under my desk. Wish the back was adjustable but it does have decent lumbar support. One-piece body is plastic but thick and durable. Wheels roll smoothly on tile floor. Happy with purchase.

I spent hours and hours looking for a gaming chair for my 5 year old son, because he would use mine. I didn't want him to sit on the bed and get a hunch back, so I would give him my chair. I couldn't find anything his size. Then I saw this chair, and it really didn't have many reviews so I was skeptical, but I took the chance. It's very, very nice. The setup was easy, and its very practical. It has nice support for his back, the seat pushes back so the seat is perfect size for him, and it even has a little plastic footrest for him. The chair is small enough that he's comfortable, but then also big enough that he can look straight forward into my monitor. Highly recommend.

We purchased this in an attempt to find a good office chair for my 4'8" wife. After reading some reviews by other height-challenged people we placed the order. The box arrived pretty beat up and without much structure inside, but the chair itself was perfectly fine. It's a very durable plastic that really looks like it can take a beating. The chair itself is stupidly easy to assemble and is very rigid once assembled. The footrest is awesome for short-legged folk, as it provides a place to rest the legs and prevent them from dangling. This is advertised as a kid's chair, but it really is a great option for many people. Unfortunately this didn't quite work out for my wife, whose arms are super short. The armrests aren't adjustable up and down, which left her arms hanging when working at her desk. It just wasn't feasible to use daily for ergonomic support. (*for her*) Thankfully the company was very fast to respond to our request for a return. Not only did they not have a problem with us returning it, but they paid for return shipping! This is the type of service that will gain and retain customers. If we ever find any other products through them we won't have any concerns about ordering. Awesome chair and awesome customer service!

Look no further for you short females. This ain’t just for kids! Wifey is about 5’. Yes, five foot. She fits perfectly. Her feet touches the floor. Posture is on point and the chair is COMFY. Great amount of seat cushion. She is skinny though, so if you are overweight (like, fat fat, not chubby), maybe try it out it first regardless and then you can just return it if its not roomy enough for you. Pros: Perfect for short girls around 5’. I would estimate 5’4” MAX. Comfy seat The seat has some flex. So the chair isn’t “stiff”. Hard to describe but it has “flexible hips”. Cons/Feedback: Perhaps you guys should introduce a high back design as well. Maybe add a reclining option, too to be able to tilt back. Removable wheels to upgrade with “rollerblade” wheels for optimal smooth floor sliding. GREAT PRODUCT! Its only worth $200 because the market is VERY limited to chairs for small people. So, it is well justified currently. 08/25/2020

I’m a 5’2 105lb adult female and this chair works amazingly for me. I used to have horrible back pain for over a year after I started working my first office job, and I was desperate to find relief after trying ice packs, regular chiropractor visits, muscle relaxers, 4 different chairs, the whole 9 yards really. After switching to this one I don’t need any of those things. My feet can reach the ground which improves my posture, the seat is pretty comfortable (it slides forward and back), and I like that it has a foot rest. It’s most comfortable when I’m wearing heels, I guess it’s a height thing. Overall I would absolutely buy again and would recommend to any short/petite adult looking for a comfortable seat :) the seat area itself is pretty small since it’s made for children so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavier people

I have been looking for an office chair for a very long time. This is the 5th chair I tried in the past 10 years (and have had to put up with a lot of other uncomfortable office chairs in offices where I had no choice for over 10 years before that). I was happy to see the other reviews from shorter adults (not just kids) using this chair because all of the office chairs I have tried have had a seat that was too deep for my shorter legs. I love how the seat on this slides forwards and backwards to adjust the depth. On its own, the lumbar support feels a little too hard on my back (but I also have arthritis in my lower back, so I am probably more sensitive than most). I slid the seat a little further forward and put in a lumbar cushion and this feels like the best fitting chair that I have had so far. Assembly couldn't have been easier.
