This is an amazing product! These look like strong pieces and will hold up for a few good years. I love the quality. My favourite part of this entire package is the fact that they provided extra pieces! I think that is so extremely thoughtful and kind of the creator. It's these thoughtful things that takes a product from basic to phenomenal. This product definitely offers excellent value for the money. The educational value is also really great, making it a worthwhile purchase. The magnetic strength seems adequate at the moment, though it will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. The paint quality appears to be satisfactory for now, and I'll be able to provide a more accurate assessment once I've had more time with it. Overall, this is a fantastic educational product, and I'm definitely planning to explore other products offered by this seller.

I don't know why fruit and food make fractions more interesting to kids, but they do. I got this kit as well as a normal fractions kit, and found that this one was much more engaging and interesting even though the basic math concepts are the same. The material is a plastic cover to a foam material, backed by a magnetic sheet. The colors are vivid and fun. I've had these for a few months, and they've lasted well. There are also a lot of different types of fractions that you can save for advanced students. Again, I'm not sure why, but these are more effective than the regular ones -- maybe because kids can also more easily imagine needing to split a pie or waffle than they can a regular circle. I highly recommend.

The thickness of the pieces are great. They do curl up for no apparent reason. Also, they are magnetic, but don't stay especially if on a wall.

My first package of these had one side of the lid that seemed to have been slit open with a knife. Hoping to keep this in nice condition for as long as possible, I returned it so I could get one in better shape (I assume a warehouse mishap). These come in a board game-type box (but taller, the lid lifts off from the top). Because I will use in my classroom with 6th and 7th graders, I wish the placemat piece (which is the nicest in the box) had been skipped and better materials had been used on the pie pieces. But it is nice and I'm very happy with it. Just don't know if it will withstand use in a classroom environment. The enclosed and downloadable materials are great starter pieces to work with in building activities and possible worksheets for students to complete.

Makes learning more fun. My students love them. Highly recommended.

These are ok as a concept & the laminate is good quality. They are not magnetic & some are warped a bit.
