Calling all parents and children! This colorful deck of fifty simple, effective mindfulness practices will teach kids to stay present and manage their emotions, based on Kira Willey's bestselling book Breathe Like a Bear and including four brand-new activities. Following a mindfulness practice has been proven to provide children with all kinds of benefits, but how do you teach them mindfulness? Pop open the box, grab a card, follow the instructions, and find yourself having fun, being in the moment, and building a mindfulness practice for the future. The fifty activities in the Breathe Like a Bear Mindfulness Deck emphasize focusing, becoming calm, imagination, getting energized, or relaxing. And the way you do it is fun and creative: Pretend to be a cloud Stretch like a kittycat Hiss your breath out like a snake And many more! Review: Excellent resource for kids - I use this with my own daughter as well as my child clients to help them learn new mindfulness techniques and practice them together. There is also a Spotify playlist and a book that goes along with this but I have found the kids enjoy these cards the most. Review: Beautiful cards with great ways to calm or relax and more - These are adorable and feel sturdy, they’re a good size and the art is beautiful. Each and every card has been very obviously drawn carefully and the little stretches or breathes on the back always fit the drawing. We just got them and area already in love, great addition to our SEL library.

Fun for younger ones in the therapy room
Bought these as an aid for my music therapy room. We work on emotional regulation and the younger kids can really relate to the illustrations and concepts like breathing and role playing.

First mindfulness activity that’s worked for us
My therapist loaned my her deck to try out before purchasing, and I bought my own within a day. My 4-year-old is veeeery 4-years-old. The water is too wet. Now it’s too hot. Now it’s too cold. Don’t blow up that balloon! Don’t twist that balloon like that! Don’t let the air out of the balloon! Let the air out of the balloon! Do it again! Again! You know. These have been a good tool for regulation during meltdowns because he has some control and can pick his own cards. That’s where I think other toys I’ve tried have failed. Like who does this stuffed talking mouse think she is anyway?! The cards put him in the driver seat, though that also means we haven’t made it past his two favorite cars, which are the one with the cars (obviously) and hot chocolate. Take it from me: don’t actually make your kid hot chocolate. When he asked after we did the exercise I thought it was a delightful idea because we could practice our blows and our sips! It backfired on me because now when I pull out the deck he asks if we can just make hot chocolate…

Perfect for Winding Down After Wild Kid Energy!
I bought these Breathe Like a Bear Mindfulness Cards for my friend’s 8-year-old daughter, who had the most active party known to humankind. Picture sugar-fueled chaos—kids bouncing off the walls. But, to my surprise, that very night, she actually asked her mom if they could use the cards to wind down. Magic! (Or maybe the sugar crash, but I’ll take it.) The activities are simple, engaging, and calming—perfect for little hands and busy minds. Now, I want a set for myself! Who knew bear breathing could be so tempting? Honestly, these cards are a must-have for anyone with kids (or adults who could use a moment to zen out).

My daughter asks for them...
My daughter enjoys using these when she's have a meltdown. She now asks for them. However, when she's in the heat of the moment, there's not enough focus to be able to do the exercises. She needs to be starting to calm down first.

Damaged item but love the cards
The cards themselves are beautiful and I love that they expanded on the book, but it stinks to open a brand new item to find damage. What can you expect from next day free shipping, I guess.

PESSIMA CONSEGNA!!!!!!
Sono super delusa! Il prodotto sarà anche di qualità, ma la consegna è stata pessima. Praticamente il corriere ha forzato il pacco dentro alla bussola delle lettere, rovinando non solo il pacco, come anche il prodotto.

Cutest cards for Mindful Meditation
We've always used Breathe like a Bear books/DVD but these cards are definitely a favorite!! Easy to travel with and take a card to use whenever you like. Would even be good for kids and adults at work/school who struggle with things. Pull out a card discretly to follow along a nice mantra to calm yourself in nervous situations etc!! Love that they made these into the cards!!
