What a difference…
I thought there was an issue with my bandsaw. I always used the blade that came with my brand new band saw. The cuts would drift across the board terribly on my 18in SCM band saw, wasting expensive hardwoods. I read that it could just be the blade. It was! Simple as that. Coupled with setting the saw up as Alex Snodgrass suggest, operates as a band saw should. Great blade.

Does not run smooth
Very disappointed in the blade. I have tried adjusting tension several times and cannot get the flutter out. Also, the weld looks suspect.

Accurate Cut
First Impression: This is the first blade installed on a new Laguna 18bx. I needed to allow a little more clearance on the rear guide because of a slight uneven transition at the weld. With a slip stone applied to the back of the blade I smoothed the transition a little. The blade tracks very well and with the saw tuned so that the blade is perpendicular to the table the blade runs with no visible wobble. I ripped a thin 6" long piece of 2" cedar as a first cut (.040"). Using a micrometer I found the cut to vary only a couple thousandths of an inch along the length of the cut. I rated the blade 4 stars because of the weld transition; however, the blade cut very nicely and I expect will serve me well.

I ordered two at 145 lengths. Received one at 145 and second at 80”. I need second at 145

Bad blade drift
I thought I was having issues with my bandsaw because I couldn’t fix my blade drift. Threw on a resaw King and it was cutting perfect immediately.
