Perfect for the spotlight ring camera replacement. The OG got scrapped and became blurry so I bought this a replacement. Just a tip don’t screw the lens in all the way because that’s how you play with the focus. The lens may be “bulging” out more than the OG one so your focus can be good. It’s like if you were playing with a digital camera that has a focus lens. Was this close to returning it because I tighten it all the way inside.

Had my doubts but for the price it's a no brainer. For those interested on lens removable, I didn't drill a hole. Just use a mini flat head and hammer and banged the outer edge a few times and manually use that notch to push counter clock wise. It was relative easy coming out and results were night and day. Quality is equivalent to my ring doorbell cam. The sweet spot for me is within 1/8 above the opening. Going too far in will be blury. Just used rubber faucet o-rings. One over the thread and another over that o-ring. The second should be a tad bit bigger than the circumference of the lens and should screw in snuggly. Good luck.

Fit great for my Ring Lens replacement. Really easy to install and the image quality is superb if not better than before. Just had to caulk around it to help seal off any water

Good replacement for RING SPOTLIGHT but it is too long so you have to put either Orings and silicon or both to keep water out. Adjust the lense until you have a clear image. If you screw all the way in, it won't give you a clear view. Wish it was shorter so it would screw in all the way.

This worked on my ring floodlight camera. It's longer than the original so you shouldn't screw all the way in. Check the live view as you screw it in to make sure you get best picture. I added 2 orings to hopefully stop moisture from getting in. Image is clear and for the price it works. Beats having to buy a whole new light. I used a marker to mark outer edges of top and left / right so if I need to unscrew and screw back I put back in same spot.

I bought the lens to replace a badly fogged lens on a Ring camera. After unscrewing the existing lens, I very carefully screwed in this lens until the camera gave a clear picture pretty much equivalent to the original, however there was a lot of space around the lens that would allow water to get inside plus the lens was only loosely screwed in. I tried to find a suitable O-ring that would both keep out water and tighten up the position of the lens at the proper focus, and upon testing several O-rings, I started getting less careful not to go past the good focus point, and accidentally went too far in, and cracked a thin piece of glass that covers the cmos video chip. So the lens is acceptable quality, and the threads are the right size, but but the shape of the lens body doesn't match Ring cameras, and while it can be positioned to give good focused, it is difficult to get it securely positioned at this position and difficult to get it weather sealed to keep water out. It may work fine on other cameras.

The lens on my Ring Floodlight camera started to haze over. It was so bad the camera was no use to me. I contacted Ring and they just wanted to sell me a new camera, witch I ended up purchasing but I kept my old one to dissect. I found that the lens is just screwed in, I'm sure Ring knows this but won't sell you a lens. I started shopping around and found this one, it works great. there is a small gap behind the new lens and the base, I installed an O-ring and it fit perfectly. I now have a new camera, wish I would have tried this before I purchased a new camera from Ring.
