Very well made shirt, but a little small. Buy one size larger. I plan to buy another one for Christmas.

The design, materials and workmanship are excellent. Very comfortable to wear. When I first wore the shirt, both my wife and daughter commented on how much they liked the shirt on me. Definitely in my summer wardrobe. I would order again.

I decided to wear this to work and work has me staying pretty active all day. Every now and then I'd feel like the shirt was a bit constraining (mostly when I lift my arms) but for the most part it fits and I wasn't in any danger of ripping it like the hulk or anything (I'm not THAT big). I like the design stitched into the front, which is ornate without being too gaudy. White thread on light blue works well for me, and it helps keep it from looking like a boring blue button-up shirt. What's more, it's 100% cotton which is probably my favorite fabric for daily wear, especially when I'm active. Sometimes shirt manufacturers like to put in an extra button (to replace a lost one) but they didn't do that here. I guess that means if I'm ever likely to lose the button I had better either find it or hope I can find a replacement that looks enough like the remaining ones. Of course the buttons aren't anything special (just plain white) so it shouldn't be that hard, but having a spare button in case of emergency is always helpful. Overall this is a good shirt, but I'm docking it one star because I feel like it could be roomier in the upper chest/arm area. If you don't plan on being extra active in this shirt or if you're a smaller large than me it might not be an issue for you though.
