I'm impressed by the quality and heavy-duty thread and needles provided with this sewing kit. There is a good variety of needle sizes and thread colors. I like that most of the colors are dark as that will work great with most of the upholstery repairs I'm planning on making. The case is small, but well organized, making it easy to find and replace the tool or item you want to use. Speaking of tools, it has many extras that will help tremendously in heavier-duty repairs; particularly the awls and snipping scissors. All in all a good value.

So much better than I expected. This kit has everything in one neat zippered case. Three awls ! Good amount of needles and thread. Seam rippers and scissors . Very portable. Great set.

Very strong thread and perfect variety of needles that work perfectly for sewing vinyl that has come apart in my boat seats!! Looks wonderful and very very durable!!

This kit was exactly what I needed to repair the strap that came off my old duffle bag. I’d had the thing for over a decade and it’s still in good quality. But a thread snapped and the strap came off. I ordered this kit for the strong thread and needles, and actually ended up needing the awl to poke holes in the thick layers of strong fabric before I could get my needle through. It’s held strong and I’m happy with it. I’ve since used it to repair a pleather handbag. The ends of the thread burn nicely to seal. The only tools that fall below expectations are the scissors, which have a plastic body and need to be squeezed just right to actually cut the thread, and the thimble which is flimsy and split the first time I used it. It still works, but you have to be careful with positioning and putting pressure on it. I highly recommend this kit, and I know I’ll be using it all over the house.

It's a very good kit that one should buy if you want something for the right price and good quality product...
