Well made with precision. Works very well. The on/off switch is a wonderful feature.

Bore sight works as described. Laser came "true" so there was no adjustment needed. Got both the .223 and 9mm versions.

Too small for the 9mm. It “fits” but doesn’t sit straight in the barrel. The laser itself is not very bright, and the laser blows out at like 2 yards. Easy to use until it broke after having for 2 days. It doesn’t click on anymore and is basically a laser strike that doesn’t fit right so it won’t even work for that. Being returned.

This is difficult to review and I'll explain why. All the available videos do not show an on and off switch. Very simply, it stated that all you do is screw it in and the light turns on. The directions are terrible, but you don't have to be a rocket science so you'll be okay. Anyway, it appears that they've upgraded this item, meaning that there is actually a rubberized on and off switch at the tail end of the device. You simply click it on, and click it off. Why they didn't do this from the beginning I have no idea. Now the funny part is that they tell you in the directions that you should unwrap the batteries even though they're wrapped together, meaning that they're stacked with a blue plastic surrounding the batteries to keep the pair together. They sent three pairs of batteries. You can fit three batteries in it but you will never get it closed so I presumed that it was only two batteries. Another thing is, because the directions are so poor I can imagine that when somebody tries to chamber this they might actually try to put this in the magazine! Never, never try to put this in the magazine this is manual chambering meaning that you have to pull the slide back, lock the slide, insert while it's turned on, release the slide lock, and you're ready to go. I use this to sight in an optic and I couldn't have asked for a better match. I simply, shine this down the pike.. the barrel, and out the other end was my Red Dot. From there, just like any other b o r e s i g h t device, you adjust the optic around the Red Dot that is presented by the optic once they match, meaning that they overlap you have a perfect b o r e s i g h t! In summary, I took away one star because the directions do not match the product because of the upgrade and because I would imagine that some people may not be able to quite figure out exactly how to use it. This does not make you stupid, because it took me a few seconds to try to figure it all out myself. But once you do it is an ingenious product. One final thought as it comes in a very nice plastic case that is very durable I believe that the material that the b o r e s i g h t e r is made out of is also pretty durable it's not thin at all like, you could drop it and it would be just fine. I know this is a rather long review but I wanted to get it all in there so you know what you are up against but I would definitely buy it again in fact I bought the small and large caliber version

Excellent tool for setting up red dots or laser sights. it even has a on/off button to save battery. This one uses a 2 pack of batteries and it comes with 3 sets. So far I am still on the first battery pack. I had to turn my multi red dot center dot off and use just the circle to set up my red dot. At the range the gun fired very close to what I had zero'd, I was free shooting and aim is always a factor. A bench rest would better confirm if this laser cart was accurate. My groupings were pretty good so I am very pleased.

Little switch is a gimmick. Clicked to on- it lit. Second I let pressure off button it turned off. No it does not light with firing pin pressure. So tried to click it again. Apparently it was a 1 click 1 time use. So used a razor blade to remove inner plastic spacer allowing the rear cap to make contact with the battery - turning the unit on. Usable. Just not with the button.

The 9mm model is very good. I initially had an ‘issue’ with the switch on the rear of the laser cartridge. But then I realized the reason it was not staying on was due to the heat shrink on the battery pairs extended past the end of the batteries enough to block the switch in its on position. Trimmed the heat shrink and it works flawlessly.

Worked great. Used on Dagger S and sub 2000 and it got it very close. Fine tuned at range.
