Big sound, wide tonal pallette, easy to play
I have this piece for tenor and soprano and it's killer for the price. Solid construction and perfect intonation. If you use harder reeds with this, it can darken the tone quite nicely. Save yourself hundreds on a name brand metal piece and try this first if you are trying to find your sound or want something versatile enough to play anywhere.

Good quality, low price mouthpiece
The mouthpiece made my Lade soprano sax much easier to blow through the various registers. The included cap does a better job of protecting the reed than the plastic one that came with the sax.

Not as pictured
Ended up returning it. Did not look at all from what was pictured, specifically the rails & other interior dimensions.

Great Mouthpiece
This is an amazing mouthpiece. The stock mouthpiece that came with my sax didn't allow for me to hit the highest notes. This Bari mouthpiece did the trick. It has a very strong sound and control over the pitch.

Nice playing mouthpiece
I recently purchased a Soprano sax, I play tenor/alto/Bari in several bands (for years now) and wanted to try out adding a soprano into the mix, mostly just for fun. A nice used soprano became available (Eastman 52nd St) so I purchased it but it came without a mouthpiece. I don’t like the dark sounding Yamaha/Vandoren/D’Addario type pieces so I was looking at YouTube reviews and came across a review given by sirvalorsax of the Aibay tenor model, he gave it a very high rating so I figured I’d try the soprano model. It’s very inexpensive and worst case I figured if I didn’t like it I could always donate it to the local high school or JC. I literally received the piece the day I ordered it…. Packaged fine, comes with a ligature and cap (the other pieces I mentioned don’t). The mouthpiece is finished nicely, the bite plate is mounted well (I always use a patch) and the lig fits nicely. So for the real test… I soaked a select jazz 3S reed, and put it on, did the suck/seal test, the reed sealed perfectly. Put it on my horn and with some minor adjustments it plays really well. Nice even, full tone, not overly bright. My horn has some leaks which I need to have serviced but I’m honestly impressed with the sound I’m getting. Well done Aibay!

High hopes. But no...
Currently playing a Vandoren V5 S27 with a 2.5 Alexander Superial reed. It has a full, warm sound. Think classical. I've had it for many years and I wanted to try something brighter. Once I could get something to come out, it was definitely bright (more on that later). Not really a necessity; just wanted "something different". So I figured I'd spend a few bucks and if it worked, great. This did not work.As one reviewer said, it's too big for the neck. It falls right down over the cork. In other words, no seal. That's why I had trouble getting anything out. Sure, I could take it to a repair shop and get it recorked. But if I'm going to spend that, I could just send this back and get a better mouthpiece.Over the years, I've kind of gravitated into Vandoren products (Vandoren Jumbo Java on Tenor, Vandoren V5 S27 on soprano with Vandoren Optimum ligatures on both). So I'm going to do what I said and send this back and get a Vandoren V16 S8. Thought about trying a Meyer or some others. But I'll play it safe and stay in family with Vandoren. If this mouthpiece fits your cork, you will probably like it. When I could get a sound out, it was very bright with my setup. Had to use a stronger airstream than on the S27. If it made a better seal, probably wouldn't need as much air.My advice: stick to name brand. You don't have to spend a fortune (think Theo Wanne) for a good mouthpiece. But this is not the one.
