This makes cleaning your ears so easy. It takes a little time to get use to, but helps make sure you are actually cleaning your ears and not just packing the ear wax

Easy to use, does the Jon, but thr picture could be clearer

I got this because I thought it'd be nice to be able to peek into my own ears, to be able to check for excessive earwax and/or signs of an ear infection.On that note, it works pretty well. Once I get the camera & app connected, the picture is really clear and it's pretty easy to see in my ears, although because the ear canals are curved it takes a little practice to get it pointed where I can see all the way in. I am impressed, though, when I rotate the device somehow it is able to keep the image from rotating with it, otherwise it would be really difficult to navigate and tell which way it's pointing inside the ears.I wish it were easier to get the thing going. First you have to disconnect the phone from Wifi, and after turning on the camera you connect your phone to its Wifi (meaning your phone is without internet access while it's in use). Then you have to open a special app. I wish I could just plug it into my phone with a USB cable and skip all the hassle with the wifi - I think I would use it more often if it didn't take so many steps to get going.The device itself has a soft little blue probe on the end of it, which can be used to scrape out tiny bits of earwax. It is handy and fairly easy to use. Included are a bunch of replacement tips for the probe.The package also came with a bunch of other ear cleaning tools. Most of them are metal, but some are plastic. These cannot be used with the camera (unless you have 3+ hands), so I guess they are just bonus accessories. I didn't find them too useful, as I think it's safer to use cotton swabs than to be sticking metal things inside my ears.The listing mentions the camera can also be used to inspect teeth or your nose. I tried that but it was really hard to navigate that way for me. I would not count on it for that.

Very easy to use and overall a great product

Sorry, I was initially excited about this product. I can't hear that well and I thought this might help. But when I saw how small the tools are, I felt uneasy about sticking them in my ear. So I spoke with a Dr about it and he recommended against it. I am happy that it may help some people, but its just not for me!

In April my kid did Airsoft with some friends. After getting back home and taking a shower (cleaning his ears with a Q-tip) he says "I feel like I have a BB stuck in my ear".Some of you may not have experienced the entertainment that comes with raising boys who will literally try anything once, and you might want to be grateful for that. For the rest of us, this is just another opportunity to question whether your current circumstances qualify as an "emergency" or if it can be handled by urgent care. After looking in his ear and confirming that there was, in fact, a BB in there, I decided to try urgent care.We head to urgent care and after a couple of hours of waiting and then multiple attempts to remove the BB, they told us we needed to go to the emergency room. At this point I am feeling vindicated that it was obviously an important enough concern to be taken care of quickly. I was doing the right thing!!At the emergency room multiple attempts were made to dislodged the BB. This included instruments to scoop around, something to grab around the obstruction and pull it out, then they even tried to use suctions to pull it out, all to no avail. It was determined that he needed to see an ENT so a referral was put in for one.At this point I am thinking that this is very important and we will get a call ASAP to be seen. Clearly this needs to be removed quickly, Urgent Care would not have sent us to the emergency room if it was not very important. It took another 3 days before I heard from anyone and when we got to the ENT appointment they too could not remove the BB and decided that they needed to put him under to remove it. Are you freaking kidding me?!?! Honestly this seemed so silly but ok, I guess if you need to. They said they would call to schedule the procedure soon. They didn't call to schedule the procedure for 3 weeks and then it was for another 3 weeks out. By the time we got close to the procedure date they called to go over pre-op paperwork and this stupid BB was going to cost me $600+!!I was so confused because I thought at first it was really important to remove the BB quickly, but then it took over 8 weeks before the removal would take place, so maybe this isn't an "emergency"????I share this story for you so you can understand how phenomenal this product is. I bought the ear wax scooper and my son saw it on the counter and decided to try it out. He removed it in seconds!!WORTH EVERY STINKING PENNY!!Do not wait to purchase this product. You NEED one on hand, especially if you have inquisitive and curious children.
