Easy to use and, perfect for mash and making gnocchi. One star off because cleaning can be cumbersome, I wish it could be separated at the hinge for washing. When opened up it is difficult to fit in the dishwasher. Other than that it is a good lightweight ricer perfect for home use.

Die Presse macht einen stabilen Eindruck und alle beweglichen Teile funktionieren wie sie sollen. Nach einem Hinweis in einer anderen Rezension, dass sie magnetisch sei und daher kein Edelstahl sein könne, war das mein erster Test: sie ist definitiv nicht magnetisch. Der Siebkörper ist aus 'einem Guß', somit kann auch keine Siebplatte beim Hochziehen am Stempel kleben bleiben. Die ganze Presse wirkt nicht billig leicht, sondern hat ein angenehmes, hochwertig anmutendes Gewicht. Ihren ersten Praxistest hatte sie auch schon. Ich bin angetan. Die Kartoffeln (mehligkochend) ließen sich einwandfrei durchpressen. Ein wenig mit Butter und Milch verrührt und ich hatte einen feinen, absolut klumpenfreien, glatten Brei. Das einzige was mir nicht ganz so gefällt, ist dass die Griffe nicht massiv sind. So hat man doch zwei Kanten unter den Fingern. Aber das ist keinen Sternabzug wert, denn diese Eigenschaft geht ja klar aus der Abbildung hervor. Der Langszeittest wird zeigen, ob die Presse weiterhin so wunderbar arbeitet. Ich kann nur eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben, insbesondere, da der Preis unschlagbar ist.
