Acrylicos Vallejo VJ77703 32 ml"Dark Aluminium" Metal Color

I bought it for testing, i painted vellejo gloss black and paint on top, its ready made for air brush and with 20PSI, amazing job done.

For years, enamels such as Alclad have been the only real option for airbrush users seeking a realistic metal finish; no comparable acrylic formulation has been available.Spanish manufacturer Vallejo specialises in acrylics formulated for airbrushes, and has now come up with a solution. These Vallejo metallics flow through the airbrush easily without blocking and offer a superb finish, greatly enhanced when the metallic paint is applied over Vallejo’s gloss black primer which adds depth and extra sheen.The paints may be used straight from the bottle into the airbrush or thinned 4:1 with Vallejo thinner or ‘airbrush flow improver’.If you want an aluminium finish, several variants are on offer. The classic ‘dark aluminium’ (as opposed to ‘light’ or ‘duraluminium’) is looks fabulous, with a deep metallic finish.These paints are supplied in a 32ml pot which covers around half a square metre. You won’t need multiple coats. It’s a good product but a bit pricey against for example Tamiya acrylics, but worth it for the high-quality finish and ease of using acrylics.

Coverage is excellent and in particular works great through an airbrush

Wow. This paint looks very, very good indeed. Typical Vallejo quality, so goes through an airbrush really nicely, without the need for thinner. Give it a really good stir though, as it may settle a bit.Black primer is very helpful underneath.Photo is of a 3D printed helmet, black Vallejo primer under this dark aluminium. The surface was not perfectly smooth, and is awaiting gloss coats.

Great quality, perfect coverage, is not 100% water-based. There is some alcohol in there too.

I always use Vallejo acrylics and this goes on perfectly, just remember to use gloss black primer for a good finish.

Love this range of vallejo metal colours. Great results when used over the gloss black primer. Highly recommended.

This stuff is amazing! Goes on a dream with both the airbrush and paintbrush.Went back and bought the other colours in the range too.
