Loads of adverts on videos before getting to story & therefore children complaining which defeated the purpose of the exercise, as opposed to original 1988 BBC videos which although dated were enjoyed.

Bought for my 9 year old grandson and its perfect for that in between age. Classic story every child should read or watch. I find it hard to get something which will hold a lively 9 year old and his 6 year old brothers attention and be something I approve of but this fits the bill.

Bought these for a granddaughter. Arrived before Christmas. She loved it although not yet viewed.

Description doesn't make it clear that the three films are not presented in a box set - instead they come individually and Amazon have simply cellotaped them together - poor presentation for the value! Cheaper buying individually yourself and wrapping.

A truly excellent cinematic true portrayal of Lewis's magical books!The characterisation & casting are not only true to story, but true-to-life!Great entertainment for children of all ages!
