Yamaha Weighted Action 88-Key Digital Piano , Includes Power Adapter and Sustain Foot Switch

When my daughter was born, I quit playing the piano. For more than 20 years, my old spinet just sat. I finally gave it away (try selling an upright these days). I bought this keyboard later on, when I decided to play piano again (30 years away). I really love this keyboard. It has the feel of a real piano, and I never have to worry about it getting out of tune. It's much smaller than even a spinet, but it has the sound of a grand! What's more, it has organ, harpsichord, and vibraphone functions! Just a note: my dogs do not like the organ, though they are fine with the harpsichord and vibraphone. My only complaint is that the pedal is a bit hard to keep track of, as it's not "fixed." For those of you wondering, yes, you can play again after a hiatus of 30 years. I was amazed to find I could still read music with ease. The problem is getting my fingers to go where they should.

This is such a nice piano for me as a beginner. It doesn't take up a lot of space, so I have it out all the time and it serves as a great reminder to practice. It was easy to put together and it looks nice in the den. It was well packed so it arrived in good shape and I have not had any issues with it at all.

This is a really nice instrument it create a beautiful sound… It’s not gonna blow your eardrums out but playability and feel is like a high-end piano. I’m very impressed with this purchase. You won’t ever have to worry about needing tuned either lol.

This is a very good keyboard. I am impressed that it sounds and feels like playing a regular piano. I had not had a piano for 25 years and didn't consider buying one because I didn't really have space for it. My daughter bought one of these and when I tried hers I really liked it. Thought it would work for me and ordered one just like hers. I am enjoying it.

My grandson, a very accomplished pianist, says playing on this keyboard feels like playing on a grand piano. He was thrilled with the quality, feel and tone.

The weighted keys really feel like a traditional piano. And the sound is superb - exactly what you'd expect from Yamaha.

I like the sound of this device. The controls are easy to figure out. The pedal was awful, and I upgraded to a Yamaha FC3A, which is satisfactory. I had never owned a digital piano before. I was expecting this to feel more like the acoustic pianos I have owned (a Kimball studio, a Sohmer studio, a Samick grand). I'll have fun learning to play some of my old music on it.

I took lessons on a real piano decades ago and sort of remember what the keys felt like. I bought a different Yamaha keyboard years ago but I just didn't enjoy playing it-the keys were also weighted but I think that there was a clicking sound when the key was released. This keyboard is awesome! To me it feels like the key movement mimics a real piano almost exactly. I'm currently in a situation where I'm trying not to disturb a roommate by playing early in the morning and this is perfect! I just got an adapter so I can plug in my headphones and I can practice any time that I want. I do love the different functions-I especially enjoy playing with the "strings" setting. Not sure if it's a real issue or not, but I can barely hear the highest two notes and they sound very tinny. I'd have to find a real piano to see if they actually sound normal or not. Since I don't expect to become a concert pianist-I think this is totally awesome for my needs!
