The spindle was extremely rusty. I wonder if someone bought this and swapped their old spindle with a new one and then returned the item?The picture in the description shows a lovely shiny new spindle not the rusty rubbish that was sent to me.My photo is attached which shows the “new” spindle (left) next to my old one which is in a much better condition.I would have returned it but I needed to replace the door handle urgently.
