Use this to slice up a whole joint of rib eye into 17 steaks. Literally takes 2 mins. Only use it for this every 2 months and give it a quick sharpen before each use. So sharp and feels so comfortable in the hand. Love this.

I bought this knife specifically for cutting whole ribeye roasts into ribeye steaks, and it’s been absolutely brilliant. The length gives you a clean, confident slice all the way through the meat, and the curve of the blade makes it really easy to follow the shape of the roast without fighting it. It’s sharp, solid, and feels great in the hand — no flex, no wobble, just a proper, heavy‑duty breaking knife that does exactly what it’s meant to do. Cutting steaks is quicker, cleaner, and way more satisfying now. If you buy whole roasts and portion them yourself, this knife has been a game‑changer for me.

Used for first time today to slice a pork loin into 24 steaks and a full sirloin steak into 36 steaks super sharp cut through the meat simply. I’d say defo good value for money well made strong item ideal for its intended purpose
