Honeywell700 CFM Compact Spot Fan & Humidifier, Indoor Portable Evaporative Air Cooler, Swamp cooler, Remote Control (White)

My new evaporative air cooler by Honeywell is working great. It’s easy to use. I like it as an alternative to buying and using an expensive air conditioner unit.

I live in an arid climate. I bought this to help keep me cool in bed.This cooler did ok....up close. It won't cool a room at all, just a blows some slightly cooler air 5 feet or so in front of it. I added ice cubes, that helped. One tank of water lasts all night easy. Construction is very good.

It's basically a big plastic fan. Description says "washable dust filter and Honeycomb Cooling media makes for simple operation and maintenance" this is totally untrue. This thing is not only behind a bunch of screws (totally inaccessable in any practical way, but it is also basically just paper that is not reusuable/cleanable in any sense. The water isn't even saturating it to get the evaporative cooler benefits and it is beside the fan, not in front of it for evaporative cooling. The tube must be misplaced because it sometimes leaks water out, but you can't get to the inside of it to reposition the water tube. All I really need/want is a fan with a cleanable sponge in front of it that absorbs water in a holding basin, but everything these days has to be totally inaccessable to the user and totally badly/overdesigned; it's absurd!!!

I use it just during the summer months in Las Vegas to help cool the upper floor room that doesn't get enough air cond. It worked great for the remainder of the 2022 summer, all summer in 2023, but needed a big messy cleaning in May 2024, then it worked for a month. It appears that the, lets call it a board, in the back where the water drips on broke down so water is spraying through the fan all over the floor. Before we cleaned it I should note that the water pump wouldn't come on this summer which prompted a deep cleaning. I only use filtered water, so it is strange that it got so dirty. I looked for parts, because of than this issue it works fine now. But I get everything now a days is only made to last a short period of time then throw it out. Too bad. Anyway, you can count on maybe 2 summers out of it, most likely 1.5 summers. They must use poor materials.

This works perfectly to keep my house cold the only one thing I could say that I don't like is you have to buy distilled water to put in it in order to keep it clean and run smoothly I don't recommend using tap water

this swamp cooler works well its keeps my place pretty cold..

It’s a good fan. That’s it. It doesn’t cool anything down, just makes the room humid. Not worth the money.

Good home device for winter. Properly working as humidifier.

This product is better than a fan as it blows cool air at you. It is not an air conditioner so does not cool a room especially since it needs air flow so doors and windows need to be open. I love the portability as it does not need to be vented outside like an air conditioner. Meets our needs :)

This is no air conditioner

I work with several computers, and when they're heavily utilized, the room can become hot and dry. This AC was exactly what I needed to work comfortably. Its area of effect is rather limited, but I only need my desk area cooled, so it's perfect. I'm not particularly fond of how quickly the water tank depletes, and it would have been 4 stars if not for this issue.
