Brilux Classic White Candles in Glass, Set of 4, 8-INCHES Tall

Ordered set of 4 for $15.26, say $4 each. Lit immediately with butane lighter.The 8" tall jars are 2 3/16" diameter. Could say they are tall votive candles.As they burn down, the butane lighter will be the only way to start them again.They come with a fully stuck on label that tells us they come from Mexico.Good ratings always seem to drive prices up -- now $18 a set !@#$%!1st American Imports says they are an autistic hire. No info is readily available.Certainly Amazon has plenty of opportunity to give us a line or two in theiryard-long messy and confusion product scroll. Don't know that autistic adultsworking in an import warehouse somewhere in Texas is happy or beneficial.Bought these candle-jars to replace dangerous candles in open candle holdersthat could easily cause fire. I'll get more, be ready for next power outage.To remove soot: Wrap a piece of T-shirt rag around a wood handled siliconefood scraper. Using plain water remove as much residue as possible. Useanother rag, 1/2 white vinegar to 1/2 water, plus squirt of dish detergent.If that doesn't get it, use a 3rd rag with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Rinsejar, with candle still in place with plain water. Do not leave tequila in the jar!Try not to mangle the wick. Ebb

Give a nice light, but the glass is breakable. One was broken in shipping.

I've purchased them twice just because I really like the size and quality. They're a little more expensive than similar candles you can by at the grocery store, but I like their simplicity and they last quite a while. I use them decoratively but they're useful to have on-hand for emergency use too.

They are the best white column candles around. Burn bright and clean.

One out of the four candles was broken. The packaging was just fine, no damage at all. All of the candles were wrapped in layers of bubble wrap so that means the candle was broken prior to shipping. I don’t know how to get a refund for this since it’s only one of the candles. Wax also spilled out everywhere.

Candles arrived quickly and none of them were broken. However, 1 of the 4 was slightly different than the others (see pic). All of them had small numbers printed near the top of the glass that can be removed with regular nail polish remover. The labels on the 3 matching ones were really hard to remove. The trick is to peel the label off, wet and scrape off the remaining paper, and then blot the remaining adhesive with a piece of masking tape. It comes right off. Purchased for a gift, added my own stickers to them. Not sure how well they burn, they seem to be dollar/grocery store quality.

They all came wrapped individually in bubble-mailers, so they were all still in perfect condition, which I was quite pleased with.
