Jolly Jumper Classic with Stand - Black

A friend of ours got this for their little boy (same age as our baby) and seeing how happy he was sealed the deal on whether or not we wanted to fork over the money for it for our baby since it's much more expensive than the door frame jumpers (and larger space wise). My husband and I agree it's the best baby purchase we've made so far. Our daughter LOVES this thing so much. The first time we put her in it she lit up like a Christmas tree when she figured out she could jump up and down on her own, it was hysterical. She giggles and squeals and turns around and around, stopping only to smile at us or reach out to try and pet the dog as he goes by. Now she's figured out she can pivot on one foot to do a spin to face whatever direction she wants. A side benefit of her having a blast (and us having one watching her) is that we can sit down in front of her and eat in peace while she jumps to her heart's content. Obviously I highly recommend getting this but for those of you who like bullet points/pros/cons here they are: Pros: - Easy to set up, no tools needed. Took me about 10 minutes to put together. - Easy to fold back up and put away flat BUT you need to hang on to the washers so have a ziplock baggie and some tape handy. Not sure why they don't have a better way to store these onto the jumper so you don't lose them and can easily keep them close by. - Very sturdy, no wondering if a door frame will hold it safely or if your baby is going to run/jump into a door - Tons of fun for baby and parents/caregivers - Quality materials; harness is washable (make sure you attach the velcro strips together before washing) - Lightweight, easy to move to another area/room Cons: - You need space for this thing. We have a pretty small living room and this thing takes up half the walkable space (but we don't care since we love it.) - As another reviewer said, it's a pain to get your kid in and out of it, which sounds like a deal breaker but it's not. The instructions tell you to lay your baby down and put them in the harness and then, while holding your baby in the harness, hook the harness into the appropriate chain link. Um yeah...that's really hard to do the first time when you are not sure which chain link to hook it into because it all depends on your baby's height so it's trial and error and you're standing there holding your baby in the harness trying to match up the hook to the correct link and it's all just a giant pain. So...I recommend once you figure out which link to put it into, leave it there and just take your baby out of/put them in the harness while it's attached to the spring already. This is not super easy to do and you have to be careful but it's significantly easier than the other method of trying to rehook a harnessed baby (who, by the way, will start to get so excited they will start jumping before you even get them fully secured into the harness). It's definitely easier to do with two people, so one of you can hold the harness open and the other can easily put the baby in it but you can do it by yourself if you're patient and it gets easier every time. Again, this is not a deal breaker (for me) when it's such a great product. And of course, while this should go without saying, this is not a babysitter...you must watch your baby closely at all times while in this jumper and despite the product saying it's for babies 3 months and older your baby MUST have very good head control before using this, so it's more likely for use around 4 to 5 months, not 3. Also if your baby is already close to 30 lbs this product is probably not for you. We had friends come over with their 10 month old who is pretty chunky and we had to put the harness at the highest setting and he sunk so low he couldn't really jump so he just stood there and stared at us. So have it ready around 4 months so your baby can get full use of it. Oh and have your video camera ready!

Kept our son busy! He loved being in this! Easy to break down and our back together for 2nd kid.

Our 7 month old is obsessed. It's entertainment for both her and us. The stand takes up a bit of space but it is totally worth the sacrifice. The harness is great, easy set up

I like who it holds baby upright and he doesn't sag back or frontward. I like how there are multiple ways to hold baby in place. It is a little tricky to insert baby, but luckily the baby who uses this is so excited to get to jump he is still while we wrangle him in. It was pretty easy to put together. Obviously, this is free standing and needs a pretty wide footprint, so it takes up space! And, it doesn't really fold away for storage. So, currently, we have a good decorative baby jumper in the living room to enhance our style! They quality is good. We set a time for 15 minutes when he goes in, put on some music, and allow him to jump up to twice a day. He's had it about 2 weeks, and started using it at 5mos 1 week. Next week he'll be 6 mos and is already doing some creeping, can sit unassisted, and loves to stand in jump in our arms. He absolutely loves bouncing around, and we supervise him (dance with him) for his safety and our amusement.

This has been very useful and easy to use. The quality is good and it has worked well for us. Very happy with the purchase.

The jumper does what you expect: it gives babies a chance to start testing their legs and begin to learn about body control while entertaining and delighting them wonderfully! Our grandson loves bouncing around in it (though he loses interest after about 20 minutes), and just watching him go to town in it is worth the price of admission. The jumper is easy to set up—it took just minutes, just as advertised. It does occupy a large amount of space when in use, but it folds up easily for storage just as advertised too. And although the poles of the stand are lightweight, it’s well-designed and secure to support a baby’s swinging and jumping. My one problem with it is that, contrary to the promo videos showing a mom loading her baby onto the jumper all by herself, I think getting a baby in and out of it requires two people to ensure safety. The snap attaching the baby seat to the spring chain is hard to compress with one hand and lock onto the chain link while holding your baby in the air with the other. You need one hand to hold the chain steady while snapping the seat assembly into place which means someone else needs to be holding the baby up. If the manufacturer provided a D-ring which opened and closed more easily, that would solve the problem for me. Similarly, getting the baby out of the swing assembly requires it to be delinked from the spring chain and laid flat so you can safely remove them from the seat—or, you need that second person again to help hold the baby if you’re trying to unstrap them with the seat assembly still chained to the swing. That said, the jumper is a great hit. I’m glad we bought it.

This Jolly Jumper with the stand has been one of our best baby purchases. My baby loves it big smiles, happy kicks, and lots of bouncing. Perfect size for my living room or playroom. The stand feels very sturdy and secure, and I love that it doesn’t require a doorway. It’s easy to move around and gives me a few hands-free moments while knowing he’s safe. 10/10 would buy again.

Our grandchild loved this. We got it for her after she was able to hold her head up on her own.

THIS ITEM JOLLY JUMPER IS OF THE HIGHEST OF QUALITY. THE 9 MONTH OLD BABY WAS PLACED IN IT. NORMALLY HE WAS ALWAYS CRYING WHEN PLACED IN HIS SWING. WE PUT HIM IN THEERE AND HE STARTED JUMPING AROUND LIKE TO SAY "LOOK MOMMY I CAN STAND ON MY FEET AND JUMP AROUND" HE WAS LAUGHING SO MUCH. 開いておくとそれなりに場所はとりますが、たためばぺったんこになるのでうちではソファと壁の間に立てかけています 頻繁に出し入れするのも一人でできるレベルだし億劫ではないです なにより派手な色のおもちゃがついていないので目にやさしく、部屋の雰囲気を壊さない キャラもののジャンパルーにしなくてよかったです 4ヶ月の赤ちゃん、全身に力を入れて楽しんでいます

We got this when baby turned 6 months and it was one of our best purchase for our baby. He loves it and help him for developing his leg muscle. Now he can stand on his own and just keep on jumping even when we are carrying him. Of course, when he try to stand on his own in the playpen we are there to guide him. I just wish we have bought this sooner because baby is now 20lbs at 7 months and it looks like he won’t enjoy it any longer because he is at it’s max height adjustment. Pros: - Easy to set up, no tools needed. Easy to dissamble as well. - Sturdy so baby is safe, quality materials and very lighweight so you can move it anywhere in the room. - Baby is happy jumping Cons: - It took so much space unfortunately and hard to put the baby in. It took me lots of practice to get baby in and out of this thing. Still having a hard time to put baby in but now getting better in taking him out 😂
