Newest A12 AMD processor is very fast. Includes the AMD R7 which is a step up from the R5. Nice 17 in screen for gaming.I get over 50FPS in BO2. Upgraded my ram to 16GB. This also has the newest DDR4 ram.HDD was upgraded to SHHD which has 8BG of SSD for startups.Nice laptop for the money.

This computer has issues. I am not using it in a business sense but just to surf the net. It needs updates and restarts more than I feel is nessecary, forgets my WiFi password frequently when I can get it to connect at all (this is a driver issue). I have run diagnostic tests through Dell and they all turn out fine but the computer resets itself a lot and then doesn't have some programs installed like flash. Dropbox won't go away permanently either even though I have repeatedly uninstalled it.It also won't load sites quickly and needs to "think" for a while at times. We have high speed internet and I have virus protection, etc. I would not buy this again. I had a Toshiba Satelite I liked much better that didn't give me this kind of trouble. When it works and I am not frustrated the resolution is pretty good.

I'm not a windows fan but we bought it for my mom who seems to like it enough. It's thin-ish, big enough for her online shopping/browsing sessions and holds enough.Dell is always a good PC brand and I would recommend this especially for students as it's fairly fast, holds enough information, easy to use and best of all very affordable. If I had to get one I'd be good with this.My only gripe is that, like all windows PC's, it comes loaded with Adware which is annoying and slows it down. Easy fix, just take it to an IT person and have them wipe that stuff off there.

Actually my friend recommended this but when I checked the reviews and did see some bad reviews on it but personally I know the quality of Dell as I used one dell laptop for 3 years and experienced awesome performance with that. So I never go through those bad reviews and bought this laptop.This is worth and very good and felt light weight and had very big touch pad so that you can play around.I recommend this.

Slow and keyboard is annoying; good price but the thing is flimsy compared to what I thought I would get. Looks good on paper but eh.

Nice fast system. I was not crazy about the position of the vent on the bottom, so I put one of those little USB cooling fans underneath. I decide to spend a few extra bucks and bought directly thru Amazon. They have always been top shelf in their customer support, and I didn't want to have a problem a few months down the road with trying to get service from some fly-by-nights who change corporate names every six months.

I've had this computer for about a week. So far everything is pretty good, though we did have issues with the touch pad working consistantly. I think we got that figured out, for now anyways.It does take longer to respond than expected.My biggest grievance so far, though, is that is a large laptop, which is what I want, but the keyboard is set back towards the screen really far so it's very uncomfortable on the arms to rest on the blunt (almost sharp) edge of the computer. I did order some silicone pads to place on the edges but haven't recieved them yet.

Bait and Switch with DAMAGED and DYING Laptop.I’d give this ZERO stars if I could.I ordered and paid for a Dell Inspiron High Performance 15.6" FHD Laptop AMD A12 Processor, 8GB RAM,1 TB HDD Radeon R7 Graphics Windows 10 Pro. What I got was NOT the computer I ordered and paid for.The computer I bought was used in very good condition. As noted by the pictures, there were scratches all over the computer. It was NOT in very good condition.I got my computer literally 2 hours ago and was so excited, I went ahead to set it up. I didn’t like the scratches, but I was willing to overlook it since I paid $300 for it and that was less than the brand new price.I went through the process and went to make sure it had the 1TB hard drive that I needed. It did, but I noticed that the laptop I received was NOT the one I bought. It was missing AMD12, Ryzen 7, and Windows Pro. It instead had AMD9, Ryzen 5, and Windows Home as the pictures shows.Because I was so excited to get the computer, I overlooked the fact that it wasn’t the one I bought and paid for. I decided to set my settings so I can get to work.Less than 30 minutes of setting up my new computer, the screen flashed a PERMANENT FAILURE BATTERY STATUS. That was the last straw that I could not overlook. The battery was permanently damaged and dead! I only had the laptop for less than thirty minutes and things were falling apart. I then decided to send it all back to Amazon.I am hugely disappointed and upset that I was sold a scratched up, DAMAGED, and quickly DYING computer with a DEAD battery.This was NOT the computer advertised. It was NOT the computer I ordered and paid for.I do NOT recommend anyone buy this at all!!!
