Shoe Glue for Sole Repair, Thin Clear Adhesive, 30g with 3 Tips

Although this works great on shoes, this isn't just shoe glue. This is a great all-purpose glue and a solid substitute for super glue, and even possibly better than super glue. I originally purchased this to fix one of my favorite shoes. Worked really well for that purpose. Then, I had some home improvement projects and my super glue had turned hard in the bottle. So I tried using this. Wow. It bonds with metal, plastic, wood, and all the other materials it claims for fixing shoes. It seems more forgiving than traditional super glue, but seems to bond just as well. I've had the bottle for a few months now and used it for several different projects. The glue hasn't dried out and is still very usable, unlike my typical experience with super glue where the tiny bottle seems to dry out in a week or two after using it the first time. Overall, this is quickly becoming my go-to glue for pretty much anything.

This glue was ideal for repairing my rubber spenco sandals. The souls split apart from bottom of the sandals. This glue fixed it in a minute. No terrible oder or fumes and no hard to use bottle applicator , just screw top back on and stays good for next job .

Works really well. Holds tightly/ I have used it on two pairs of tennis shoes whose soles were literally falling off. Very potent stuff!

Excellent glue. I use it for everything that needs superglue, including shoes. The difference between regular superglue and this glue is that this one does not dry up inside the bottle/tube once exposed to air. So, you can actually use this glue again and again till the last drop. No wastage. Only does what it is meant for......fixing stuff. Wear disposable gloves when using this product...........you don't want to get too "attached" to this glue.

It’s good, but it should be a little thicker because it’s too runny and spills over the sides of the product being repaired. This product doesn’t work for gluing shoes—it comes apart after the first use. It would have been helpful to know this before purchasing. I would not recommend it for shoe repairs.

Great product. Easy to use because it does not run all over the item I am trying to glue.

I had a pair of flats that I wore one time, only to have the shoe come apart from the sole on Day 1. I also had a pair of sneakers that were starting to gap in places between the top and the sides. This glue definitely works. The flats were easily repaired. I have worn them since the repair and the glue is holding up. The sneakers are a different story. The glue definitely worked. The sneakers looked like new after a good cleaning and touching up with this product. However, the glue is so strong that I noticed little micro tears in the sneaker fabric. The stress point I was gluing was a bit much for the amount of product used; thus the glue adhered, but pressure exceeded strength. I do not consider this a failure of the product, but I know now to think twice in how I use this glue. Overall, I’m glad to have it on hand for future uses.

This is Super Glue for shoes. I had an old pair of Reebok SimplyTone that I hadn't worn in years. Thought I would bring them out of the closet and try them out. I put them on and walked around a bit. The soles fell off the shoes. What the? What kind of glue did they use 20 years ago anyway? I really like these sneakers so I decided I would repair them. Bought this Alecpea Shoe Glue based on the great reviews. I am a little leary of shoe glues having tried others which worked for a while to some degree. Anyway, I used the entire bottle. I followed the instructions to the letter. I am wearing the shoes now. They are so comfortable. The soles are firmly adhered. I will wear them for a while and see what happens. If the glue fails I will update this review. Update: The very front of the shoes, the little tab that attaches the sole to the front of the shoe, the glue failed. I had a small amount left and I reglued it. This is a weak point in shoes I have noticed. I will see if it comes unglued again and update this review.

I don't do many reviews, but I felt the need to say this really does work! The soles on my work boots keep failing after prolonged use and the uppers still look very tidy so this glue has given new life to them. I did put a good amount on, both top and bottom while wearing them. I stood for a minute or 2 sealing the sole back down. These have been worn for well over a week and still absolutely solid. And still have 90% of the bottle left! Just clean the application nozzle and tighten the lid to make sure it doesn't dry up. Well worth giving this a try over buying a brand new pair of shoes/boots.

The best superglue I’ve ever used. It doesn’t clog the nozzle after use, and it’s extremely effective and easy to use.

Used it on an old pair of golf shoes,the sole was hanging off one of them.Played 3 rounds since and still holding strong. Be careful as it is very runny, and I nearly glued 2 fingers together.Would recommend this product.
