The media could not be loaded. About two weeks after putting up our Christmas tree, half of the lights went out. Instead of redecorating the entire tree just to replace the lights I wanted a simpler solution.When I found these lights, I figured if they just got me through the holiday season that it was worth it.I was more than surprised at the quality and how easy they were to assemble.The fact that they simply clip on to the branches meant that all I had to do was clip them where I wanted them and unplug the old lights—the perfect solution. Not to mention how cute and whimsical they made my tree look. The elderly people in my family reminisced about how they put candles on their trees as kids and the younger generations called them my Harry Potter candles.Instead of just using them for one holiday season , these will be a lovely addition to my tree for years to come.If I had to mention some negatives it would be that you do have to get close to with the remote, but I didn’t mind that. The other thing is that the well the candles sit in could be a little deeper to help with the stability of the candles staying upright.But honestly, overall a great product! 5 stars!

These are pretty cool. They are plastic and you have to assemble them, but they do function well on the tree. You need decently thick branches and they have a bit of weight with a battery in them. One nice feature is you can gently level them on the branch. I put up our tree Dec. 16th, and we still have it up, now only three have lost battery power. We had them working every night and some days. It doesn't hold the same charm as real candles, but way less dangerous (but more waste). One light did not work, it came without the proper internal organs... Overall I like these.

I got these for my Christmas tree, and consider this one of my best purchases of the year. Everyone in my family loves them, and not only did these go on the tree, but also have been put in some candlestick holders and used that way, too. My favorite setting is the slow flicker, it gives off a very realistic glow. I will say that the candle top of these is completely clear without being frosted at all, so when you're up close you can see that they're fake, but I'm okay with that. The battery life is quite long, too, we had these on every day, all day from about 8am to midnight or 1am, and the batteries lasted about four weeks. I assume if you're using them for shorter stretches of time they'll last even longer.
