Zojirushi Rice Cooker NS-TSQ18, 220-230V (Stainless Steel Brown)

Hmm, Uncle Roger convinced me to get one and he was absolutely right, the quality of the rice is fantastic. I want to try the iron chef thing where he cooks a whole chicken. This is the larger model, they do a smaller one too which probably better for me but I always have inugh for fryed rice the next day.

I would like it's made in Japan and of very good quality.

There’s a reason why everyone gets a Zojirushi rice cooker or water heater in Japan. They’re trusted as a de facto option.I’ve had a more glamorous looking albeit cheaper fuzzy logic rice cooker prior, but it started failing early (Thing went berserk just trying to turn on) and finally kicked the bucket recently after warranty. Remembered my experience of Zojirushi in Japan and decided that it’s just better to buy once and cry once after all…I suggest the same for anyone else.

Nice piece of kit but be aware, when it says 10 cup capacity it is not talking about Thai or basmati rice but rather Japanese rice. For Thai or Basmati it is only 6 cup capacity

Instructions are clear, easy to clean, great results and the jingle gets the whole house doing a little dance.

I got the product in an amazon warehouse sale, and I am so very happy with the rice cooker. So far I have used it for making rice and porridge. The porridge can be prepared the night before, and by using the timer on the clock which is very easy it is already when the family is up in the morning. It does not seem that large a machine but it is noticeable when compared with a 10 cup machine. The NS-TSQ18 is perfect for cooking perfect rice our family of 6 adults, and when completed it goes into a keep warm mode. It also has a steaming function for dumplings and you can bake a cake in it too. It supports many different rice types so I will try these shortly. Nice to use, look at and the build quality is excellent.

So easy to use and convenient. Use the cup match the level of water according to the number of cups, chose the type of rice and press the button. The rice comes perfect every time!
