Ignore the Snowflakes Complaining about the taste
I despair sometimes about how self-indulgent and wimpish some people are. Loads of people reviewing this product regarding the taste. It's an iron supplment. It will taste of iron. The taste will disappear if you take a sip of water. What do you want it to taste of - candy floss?! The issue is not the supplement taste but the childish attitude and poor dietary expectations of those used to having sugar and additive filled supplements. I've taken iron supplements over the years, and have just started this one, but can tell straight away that it is good quality and will be effective. Best to take in conjunction with some vitamin C and to avoid tea/coffee for a while after, as vitamin c needed to absorb iron and tea/coffee inhibits iron absorption. Happy so far with this product. It's last me one month per bottle - that's taking 5/6 drop twice a day. One issue - its stains teeth, so unsure dropper is dropped back of tongue, or straw used if in liquid.

It works!
Got this for my wife who is severely anemic. Her stomach reacts badly to any other form of iron and doesn't seem to absorb it either. She is a trooper and leaves this under her tongue for 5mins (despite the foul taste!) every day so it absorbs sublingually instead and her energy levels are up and ferritin levels improved in just a few weeks. She has high strength vitamin C drops with them and I think that's helped too. She tried the Good state version of ionic iron too but didn't react too well to it. I think it's down to your personal body chemistry which type works for you. So yes, the taste is bad but, if you're suffering from anemia and can't take any other form, I would definitely give this a try.

Best form of Iron I have ever had!
Extremely happy with the product, maximum absorbancy and targeted replenishment of the mineral you are deficient to.Extremely gentle to the stomach, no issues which ususally tablets cause. Best option ever for people with food intolerances and allergies who cannot get the so neccessary iron from food sources!!! The flavour is absolutely characteristic and normal for the minerals it contains,so not sure what some people are unhappy with...there are a lot of Fe products out on the market with way wors flavour.

This gave me more energy
I bought this after trying many other iron supplements which didn’t seem to make any difference at all.However I’m so glad I bought this as I have more energy to get through the day. No four o’clock slump for me any more.You won’t regret the purchase even tho it’s more pricey than other iron supplements. Quality costs a little bit more but so worth it.

I just cant use it, the after taste is unbearable.
I have tried many iron supplements, and this is one of the worst, in terms of taste. The metallic after taste is a deal breaker because for me to religiously take a supplement, I have to at-least not mind the taste. The metallic taste of this product lingers for up-to 15 mins of consuming it, which I find unbearable.

Tastes like torture
I know I choose a pure iron, but the taste is so horrible. My little one started to cry when it was time to get it even with milk it was really hard to swallow, so I binned it.
