Question 1

does life extension test on animals?

Accepted Answer

If they do, all it does is make them live longer.

Question 2

To the manufacturer - why the giant horse pills? Leave out all that filler crap you put in, then use smaller caps.

Accepted Answer

The size of the capsule is primarily driven by the amount of active ingredients in the formula, in this instance 1000mg of taurine. Furthermore, inactive ingredients, also known as excipients, play a crucial role in the production process, and we ensure that all excipients used meet the GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) criteria and are used in minimal amounts. Please note that a powder version of this product is available, Item # 00133.

Question 3

The label says *manufactured for* Quality Supplements... who are in Florida. Where is the ACTUAL powder manufactured? (Please, no guessing.)

Accepted Answer

This product is manufactured in the USA.

Question 4

sourced from what and which country?

Accepted Answer

The taurine is synthetically created using innovative laboratory techniques. The taurine is created to match the identical chemical structure found in the human body. We use high quality ingredients that are created to be “bioidentical” or “nature-identical”, meaning there is no difference in how they act in the body. Furthermore, it is sourced from a high-quality supplier in China or Japan. As an international organization, we obtain cutting edge raw materials from around the world. All our raw materials go through stringent testing to meet our high-quality standards! Testing is performed for microbes, heavy metals, disintegration, potency, and quantity of active ingredients in the finished product. Testing methods are High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, or ICP-Mass Spectrometry but other methods may be used. Only when raw materials meet Life Extension’s specifications are they released for production. This information is available on our Certificate of Analysis (COA), which can be provided upon request. Feel free to reach out to our Wellness Specialists at (800) 226-2370 if interested in requesting a COA.
