They are so incredibly dark but that is not a bad thing. They do help with the sun and keep any glare down to a minimum. They are medium weight, sturdy and they rest comfortably on your ears. I have a larger head and eye span but they seemed to fit just fine on my face and the metal arms are wide enough that they do not press on my head.The unique feature is that you can see behind you a little on each side of the glasses. It’s not clear enough for me that I can read a document but I can see faces/people and any activity going on. It’s actually a really neat feature and does provide an advantage to being able to see over your shoulder. The downside is you cannot see much and can only see a small area over the top of each shoulder.Personally I do not like the look because the lens are so dark but if you do then you will love them. They are really well made and should last if you take care of them.

These are small glasses, a little like what were once called "granny glasses." I didn't know how small they were and got them because I hoped they would be like mirrors and show what was behind me while operating my backhoe. First of all, they were way to small for my face, which is not necessarily the seller's fault -- hard to tell from the product description.And for me, unless the light was just right, these did not work at all for providing a decent reflection of what was behind me.In fact, they're nicely made sunglasses and might be right for you. Just don't count on them as "rear view" mirrors.

Nice, well made and good looking shades. As others may have mentioned, I would NOT recommend wearing these while driving! WAY too distracting! Great for being out in public places, though. Once you get used to the mirrored finish, it allows you to see "over your shoulder" pretty easily. Great for keeping personal awareness in crowds, etc.Comes with a nice case and cleaning cloth. Would recommend.

Couldn't see behind me at all

I've been looking everywhere for a sunglasses like these!!!!! They look very elegant and help me be more aware of my surrounding with rear view mirrors!!!!! Just be careful that the reflection of the sun doesn't get you from behind because it's uncomfortable!!!!!

I was surprised that I can actually see behind me on the far edges of the glasses. It can be disorienting, and you're either focused on there you're going, or where you've been. It's a little tricky trying to go between forward and backward, but I imagine that given time your eyes and brain can adjust to maybe even seeing behind with one eye and forward with the other. Then maybe you'll go crosseyed....lol, I'm sure that wouldn't happen. They are pretty cool little spy glasses though. Not my style of glasses, and the frame is unnaturally straight, but I'm sure that's necessary in order to see behind you. They would probably be great for a right handed pitcher to be able to see first base without looking over their shoulder though.

We got these for my husband to wear.They arrive with a carry case, ready to go.They are made decent.The reflective surface is sparyed onto the inside of the lens.The glass frames feel ok.They work to see behind, but you still need to turn your head around some to see much.We would possibly buy these again.

I did have to adjust these glasses so that I could see behind me. But adjusting at the nose piece wasn't to difficult, just be gentle when you bend. These are good glasses that are fashionable and stylish.
