Nature's Gate Deodorant, Tea Tree & Blue Cypress, 1.7 Ounce

Just got this today; last day it was due. I am thrilled with how it feels, very soft, doesn't burn my skin and smells fabulous.. It is only a deodorant and not an antiperspirant; it works great for what it is and it's nice to know it does not have any of the harsh chemicals that "mainstream" deodorants have. This is my first organic deodorant, after getting very ill and toxic from eating and using non-organics. Very happy with product and the price is pretty much the same as if you bought in store; if not better (depends on where you shop and what's available). Good buy.Update: Have been using for a week or so now. If you are a profuse sweater, have a lot of your own personal smell; this is not going to work via one use per day; you will need extra scent or to use numerous times throughout day.

I am all for natural deodorants without aluminum and all these other things in there. I work in a professional environment and was tired of spending money on white undershirts that are stained yellow due to other brands. I have tried some natural deodorants before such as Tom's but did not get the results i have desired. This product is Awesome. Works perfectly and i can go all day without smelling. It does have a slight pine scent but i enjoy it.

It doesn't smell like lavender and aloe at all it smells like those forest green air fresheners you put in your car i hate the smell, its horrible, it smells like a man's deodorant. I thought i would be safe since i love the smell of lavender and aloe and i don't know how it smells like a pine tree forest. I thought i was the only one that thought so, so i got other people to smell it and they said the same thing well most said it smells like a pine tree i think it smells just like the forest green air fresheners.But anyways it goes on easy and it isn't hard like the other natural deodorants i've tried so thats a good thing it seems to work so far and it isn't sticky on your skin.but the scent is horrible i don't get how people on here say its smells nice they must like a musky pine tree smell but i paid for a nice lavender floral smell and this does not smell like that at all.I will try another scent by this brand and pray it smells better then this one.But i like the deodorant i just don't like the smell of this one.

After years (decades) of using an anti-perspirant, my right underarm stopped producing perspiration completely. Because I was somewhat alarmed at this turn of events, I decided to try a simple deodorant. In the past I've tried various deodorants but each of them ended up causing a very uncomfortable allergic reaction (even the so-called hypo allergenic ones). This is the very FIRST deodorant that agrees with my sensitive skin AND has a scent that's mild yet still effective. I highly recommend purchasing this deodorant, especially for those who have problems with overly scented items and/or sensitive skin.

I really do not like this product. I wanted to find a deodorant that didn't have all of those bad for your skin ingredients but this deodorant was no good. As I applied it, it felt like a glue stick. It was very sticky and smelt sort of strong and manly and didn't leave me feeling fresh.

Since the previous brand of natural deodorant I have been using has become harder to find, I have been on a search for a replacement. I'm relatively new to natural deodorants, but what I look for in reviews are: (1) Does it last at least 12-hours (a typical workday); (2) Does it control some perspiration; (3) Any complaints regarding irritated skin (my skin is on the sensitive side, especially to fragrance); and (4) will it stain my clothes.This deodorant smells good and the scent is not very overpowering. However, after using it for several weeks I noticed that by midday I could catch a subtle hint of body odor. I'm not particularly smelly, and this was only after sitting in my office for a few hours, nothing too active. It also has zero antiperspirant qualities. I know it's not labeled as such, but some brands I have used while not antiperspirants per se still have some sweat control. Unless you're into reapplying your deodorant throughout the day, this might be worth it for the low price point. It doesn't stain clothes and it goes on clear and absorbs quickly. I didn't notice any skin irritation whatsoever. It just wasn't for me.

4 starts because I do have to reapply the product depending on factors like physical activity, stress sweat, or depending on how "stinky" I am. Switched from having to apply Dove brand deotorant twice a day to this product with a recommendation from a family member who uses the same product. I knew going into purchasing the product that I would most likely have to apply throughout the day. Having to reapply is a small price to pay for a deotorant that is aluminum free. It does not keep wetness away if the temperature of the environment I'm in is hot, or if my heart rate is up from excersizing or if I'm stress sweating. This product is NOT an anti persperant which is what keeps you dry. However my shirts do not get wet even if my actual armpits are wet, which I love. There is NO residue transfer to my shirts which was very important to me in my search. My shirts will not discolor or permantitly stink in the armpits. The smell of the product is very nice in my opinion, not a pure lavander scent but I do see where some would say it is a minty musky smell, because yes it is. Doesn't bother me, I personally think it smells nice. Would recommend this product to someone who is looking to rid aluminum and other harsh chemicals from their deotorant.

I've been using essential tea tree oil and water in a spray bottle mixture as my deodorant for years because regular deodorant just never cut it. Finally after searching, i came across this tea tree oil deodorant, in solid form, that works. smells good and keeps me smelling good all day. for those complaining that you smell after you sweat, well it's not an antiperspirant. i use this combined with my Rx hypercare solution (applied once a night per week) and my problem is solved.

Makes armpit darker

Bought this for my dad who is allergic to just about every previous deodorant that he has tried. Within a few hours he would develop golf ball sized lumps under his arms. Tried this stuff, and no reaction!! Works quite well as a deodorant in combating bad smells. It's not an antiperspirant so don't expect it to work as one, but as a deodorant it really works well.

So... After all day cleaning and sorting my house then after work out I could not smell even a bit of sweat. I ' m so pleased with this product I will be for sure a regular customer. Brilliant product

Does not stop sweat smell, however has a very pleasant aroma on its own :)
