Anyday Microwave extra large container: A very useful item for microwave cooking. I have used it for rice, dal, khichdi. It looks neat and seems sturdy. The One difficulty is while handling the container when it is hot and has to be taken out of the microwave, need to be extra careful , use mittens or some buffer and balance the base. If there were handles of some sort, it would be helpful. The lid fits snugly. Also, need to remember to have the knob of the lid raised while cooking and not to use it lift the container.

I bought this and the 8 cup deep bowl. I love these so much I wish I knew about them earlier! I cook rice, pasta, soups and oatmeal in this daily. It's solid, very well made, perfect size and they absolutely do not leak. The vent tab is well made and seals very well. I would recommend AnyDay microwave products to anyone who uses a microwave.
