For the money, compared to the kind I've had 2 of previously, this is a fair time-minder I chose for the novelty of having new birds to replace one that still keeps great time but the bird calls no longer perform. Instead of the expected soft Hooting of the 2 owls, it's a jarring, blast-you-out-of-bed SCREECH at 6:00 a.m. and again at Midnight when it then goes quiet for the night. I have it on my stairwell wall where it is visible - and hear-able - from both floors. It wasn't hard to set, but honestly, though it is a handsome clock, it isn't an especially pleasing chirp/song/hoot to hear. I never sent anything back to Amazon before, but I really do want to replace this with the much-preferred and enjoyed old design and calls. It's probably going to make its way into the flea market / Good Will bin soon. Sorry; this is a really disappointing purchase :(

Bird sounds are not near as good as others.

A great clock for the bird and nature lover! Great for a sunroom or porch. We enjoy ours on our patio. Each hour a different bird tweets and it sounds very realistic.

If you are looking for a Bird Clock that you can listen for sure, this might be the clock. You hear bird songs louder and longer than other Bird Clocks (no songs at night so you can sleep, if you set the clock so) and you can hang it on either light or shade wall. A little disappointment on this clock is some bird songs among the 12 birds don't sound real bird but artificial sounds like some people commented and the most birds are not familiar to the West coast Residents. Even though, I think this clock is much better. Additional Review after using 5 years. the birds stopped singings. I changed all the batteries and set the clock correctly. Still no bird songs came back. The bird singing part must have been burned out after 5 years. The clock part is still working.

I gifted my mom on mothers day, and she loved it!

Love the clock but there is no way to turn it down through the night and it is really loud you either have to turn the bird s totally off or have it wake you up during the night, our last one had a censor for dark and was really quiet. So unless l take it off the wall and turn it off and on every night and day it’s just a clock. A little dissatisfied

We did not like the sound. does not reassemble any of the birds , quality is unacceptable

El sonido es fuerte y claro y tiene variedad en los cantos que reproduce.

Oprimi ese botón que nunca se deve de oprimir y ya no suena mi reloj, seguí 10 veces las instrucciones que marcan para su reinicio en caso de oprimirlo y no funciona, ahora no se como restablecer los sonidos a mi reloj, quien me ayuda de favor.
