Arrma's 6s Kraton is my absolute favorite RC of all time but the 8s is also excellent! I have owned well over 100 RC cars. I currently have somewhere between 70 to 80 I would guess. I've owned more than a dozen Kratons, in all of their various sizes. This is one of the funnest, most durable, extremely capable and overall great value of any RC car for heavy bashing. I have abused these vehicles. I mean abused! To the point that if they were alive, I would be arrested without a doubt and locked away for many, many decades lol. When you take them to the skate park and hit a quarter pipe at 50+ MPH, they defy gravity and physics! There's something amazing about a nearly indestructible RC car! I send mine vertically at over 50 miles an hour, heading to the moon! It can land absolutely horribly and most likely, you'll be able to do it a bunch of times before you break something, if at all. When you gain some skill with air control (this car is excellent at handling in the air, almost as good as the Notorious 6s), you will be able to land on all fours absorbing forces and extending the life of your nearly immortal RC car. Don't get me wrong, you will break stuff. But if you're used to something like Traxxas you can unbuckle your seatbelt and breathe now, you found Arrma! You can now spend much less money on better products. You will not be having to repair nearly as often and although upgrading is fun it is not necessary with Arma like it is with Traxxas.

Frickn love this truck! I was disappointed that parts aren't upgraded to aluminum diffs, etc. like the 6s exb is. For me that was a big part of the exb selling point, to see that was not the case for the 8s was as I said disappointing. The truck is a blast, no problems at all, aside from it not rolling away from a head on collision @ roughly 60mph with a boulder unscathed 🤣. Even then only required about $100 in replacement parts & it was good as new. Huge perk to this truck is the availability of replacement & aftermarket parts on amazon & aliexpress you wont find as many options for the 8s as you will the 6s but man is this thing huge, stable & a speed demon!

Amazing super fast rc 8s it definitely screams out aarma.... A bit heavy but it's a basher for sure not a strictly jumps but Tru anything... Highly recommend super happy...

I purchased the kraton 8s for christmas and I have to say what a gift to myself. Hey, if you're into RC cars, or never had one. This is the one to get. Fast and fine.

strong, and fast, pictures dont do justice how big and heavy it is the only downfall of this truck is the sevo for steering, it to weak for all the weight for example the tires wont turn unless ur moving and while turning the turn radius is to big i bought a 150kg servo and it fixed it all and all would buy again

ARRMA Kraton 8S has to be the best RC vehicle in the world. I sent this truck off a jump a distance of 87 feet, landed on cement, and drove away like nothing. The sound of that landing sounded like a gun shot echoed through the park canyon. I’m literally trying to break this thing and it won’t break. ARRMA made it so your RC doesn’t break anymore if you run into something, but God help whatever you run into. I did break a couple minor easy to replace parts after beating this RC up a lot, but that was totally expected and I intended to push this to the breaking point. If you plan on just racing and hitting just regular jumps at the track, you will never break this RC. Thank you ARRMA!!! I won’t buy any other brand now!!!

What’s to say. It’s big.. I mean, it’s really big. It weighs a lot. It’s fast. And it’s expensive to run. It requires two 4s lipo batteries that are $100 a pop. And this 5000mah don’t last very long. You can get bigger batteries, but they’re obviously more expensive. You will need lots of them. You’ll need a charger. If you stick with spektrum, the chargers are $200+. It runs hot. The stock ESC fan is only 9000 rpms and is plastic. Throw it away and get a protec fan that’s aluminum and 21000 rpms. It’ll save your esc. The tires it comes with are fine for dirt or grass, not so much hard surfaces. You can get street tires for it, they’re $100 a pair. It’s a great truck, but if you want to run with the big boys, be prepared to pay to play. Otherwise, stick to the 1/10s

First off, this thing is an absolute beast of an RC vehicle. If you aren’t familiar with 1/5 scale RC trucks, do your research. It uses two 4S lipo batteries and there are a wide range of options there, just make sure you purchase the ones with the right connectors. Everything is built very well, with the exception of the controller. Here is where my issues lie. I have driven, built, repaired, and customized RC cars, trucks, boats, planes, helis, and anything with a controller for well over 25 years now. Given the price tag I wasn’t expecting a full LCD 6 channel system, but the controller is barely a step above a $100 toy RC car you would buy at Walmart. I have constant binding issues which should never be a problem once it’s been initially bound unless you unbind it. I own other AARMA vehicles that are 1/5 and 1/8 scale and none have that issue. Also, the remote will eat up batteries like they’re candy. It also doesn’t like it when you get to about half-life on your controller batteries, so even when you should have at least another hour or more of driving time, nope, it’ll want you to change them or refuse to bind the next time you swap out your 4S’s. Lastly, make sure like any other RC vehicle that you periodically check all the bolts and nuts to keep them tight. This is VERY fast and like anything that creates vibration, stuff will work itself loose over time. With some upgrades that honestly I would rather see put in as an RTR option vs upgrades after purchase, it’s a solid choice at the price point regardless.

La plataforma 1/5 de arrma simplemente es la mejor, muy fácil de trabajar en ella, y muy robusta. Es una máquina impresionante. Le sobra potencia, tiene mucha estabilidad en piso así como en el aire. En un mes de uso, saltos, pista y bashing medio, no he roto nada, y he tenido algunos aterrizajes muy malos, cómo se ven en los videos. Lo único es que hay que revisar todo el carro antes de correrlo, ajustar todos los tornillos, el mesh del piñón, y si pueden enlainar los diferenciales, aunque lo corrí algunos pack stock antes de que llegaran mis shims de Ali express y no tuve mingun problema.

Absolute Monster! My only complaint is that for over $1700 Canadian BEFORE tax this Demon should come with belted tires. I see those tires BALLOON BIGTIME as soon as I crank the throttle & I'm a full throttle kind of basher. It's only a matter of time till they rip. I use two 4s CNHL 6200 mAh racing batteries https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0C6LVM1TV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title & I get about 7 minutes of full throttle donuts, speed runs, Catwalks. I run it in a large gravel lot that's about 300 feet x 50 feet so I'm full speed all the time. This is NOT your average RC, it's MASSIVE, reading the measurement doesn't do it justice until it's in your face . When I put in the trunk of my car I have to put my Maxx & Typhon in the back seat. Should be noted that due to it's size, weight & power this unit is extremely dangerous if used carelessly.

This Arrma 8s rig is a monster, if you are looking for a large scale RC basher you can not go wrong with this RC. When purchased it was at a competitive price so make sure to watch instore pricing and compare to here. arrived in perfect condition, no damage to shipping box or product box. All you need to do is add a couple 4s batteries and you are up and running.

The thing is a monster. Dont get it unless you have room to run it its huge. My only complaint is the spoiler is brittle, and it makes my other cars seem slow.

What a beast! This machine is ridiculous, powerful, looks awesome, fun to drive. I was on the fence for a couple months, should have bought it sooner.
