Does the job but not that solid

Ok for small child but not the most sturdy of goals.

The best thing about this goal is its portability. It packs down into a bag that will easily fit into a medium day bag or could simply be carried by hand in its own bag. Its constructions is along the lines of a lightweight summer tent with elasticated fibreglass poles that thread through the fabric of the net.As some others have mentioned, the instructions don't match the product accurately and my guess is that the included instructions are for a slightly different and perhaps bigger version of this goal. The instructions imply that the cross bar has 4 poles when in fact it only has 3. It isn't instantly obvious how to put together, even with the supplied pictures, but if you stare at long enough you will get there and then practice will speed things up. The instructions imply that once together you can collapse it down for storage like a pop-up tent. This might be the case but I didn't manage to do it and even if you do manage, it won't fit back in its carry bag like this. Having said that, if you have space to store in this state then it will make setting up and packing away much faster.This is a great little goal for taking down the park with primary aged kids or possibly older if you don't mind the size. The dimensions are accurate so check before you buy.

Not as good as expected, not as sturdy or as good a quality for the price. This was a birthday present for a 5 year old.
