Duet Air Fryer, Electric Pressure Cooker & Grill Combo, 450-in-1

I've had a few different pressure cooker / air fryers at this point and this is by far the best and most convenient to use. I use it more than my stove, oven and microwave combined. It's so versatile and easy to use. I love that the air fryer lid is not attached to the base. It takes up a lot less room that way and it's also easier to transport if you ever want to take it anywhere. I'm on my second one. The first one lasted for almost 2 years, although as I said it got used a LOT. I bought a second one a few months ago and had an electrical surge situation at my home where it got fried. It was the only small appliance to do so, but it was understandable. Anyway the customer service was stellar. They replaced the base no questions asked, and I had the new one in a matter of a few days, with the postage label inside to send the old one back. So no shipping cost to me. All the accessories still worked just fine, including the air fryer lid. I hope this one lasts longer than the first one, but even if it doesn't I would probably get another one because the features are that good.

Since my apartment kitchen is cramped, I grabbed this Nuwave Duet so one machine could air fry, pressure cook, and grill for client workdays when i forget dinner. I sear veggies, snap on the pressure lid, then crisp chicken wings after a late logo session. Cleaning the stainless pot is easy and that reallly helps.

Came with lots of extras. This is my second one as my first one the air fryer lid burned out. Really easy to use, and does a good job. I like that I only need one pot for multiple functions.

Used the Nuwave duet air fryer part twice after purchasing and the air fryer lid stopped working (wouldn't heat up at all). Contacted Amazon for a replacement lid but it was 3 days past my return window, they would not do anything for me. Contacted Nuwave customer service directly through their warranty claims on their website, got a response within 24 hours and a new lid to me within 3 days. The new lid did not work either, so replied to the existing email thread with Perla S (amazing person), and a new base was sent to me, received within 3 days. I did have to send the old base back for them to troubleshoot what was wrong with it, but the new lid and base work perfectly fine and the appliance is really easy to use. I would most certainly purchase again (or other products) if needed to.

It's great when it works. After less than a month, the air fryer lid stopped heating up. Contacted NuWave customer service. They replaced lid. Great. Now it's another month later, the air fryer lid stopped heating up AGAIN. Contacted NuWave customer service AGAIN. I asked them to allow me to send the unit to them and either get a whole new one or get a refund. They say they can’t give me a refund because I didn't buy it directly from them. They won't just send a whole new unit because they've “already sent a replacement lid.” So their remedy is to send me a new base. More to come once I get the new base. I don't expect it to fix the problem and I told that to customer service but this is their solution. UPDATE - downgrade to one star because I cannot give zero. Today I received the new base. It arrived damaged (see pic)!!! Predictably it also did not fix the problem with the lid. So to recap - I purchased this Nuwave product and its original lid worked but stopped working after less than a month. The replacement lid also worked and stopped working after about a month. When I reported the second lid not working, I was sent me a damaged powerbase although I didn’t report the powerbase as not working in the first place. Nuwave's customer service certainly responds promptly but the action they take as their responses are insufficient and exacerbate the situation. Perhaps it's Nuwave's expectation and policy that I, as a customer, should just keep accepting faulty components indefinitely as their response to an unusable appliance. No thank you! I've forwarded them a copy of my Amazon invoice and requested a refund. Given the circumstances, nothing else would be appropriate at this point.

This is the best out of all the cook pots, air, fryers, and pressure cookers on the market. I love the pressure cooker on this item as I can put in any pork roast any chuck steak or roast chicken breast seasoning it set the pressure cooker to 60 minutes and when it’s done and the pressure comes out, it makes everything tender and it’s wonderful. Great for making beef stew or any meat item. The air fryer part works, but it’s smaller than the one I originally bought that’s that’s all it does. The directions are a little confusing but if you have any issues, you can call them like I did and they can explain it to you very well.

Love this product! Easy to use. Really love the multiple ways to cook. I have only tried pressure cooker, air fryer, and grill options; and they all worked great. The air fryer basket is a little smaller than my last and is not non-stick so a little harder to clean than my air fryer was. Food tastes great. Would recommend.
