The best antacid for heartburn, sour stomach, and acid indigestion. And for some reason helps stop leg cramps at night. No medical proof, just unexpected experience. The Gold Alka Seltza does not have Aspirin and less sodium. I do not use it every night, only when needed.

Don't know why stores that carry lots of Alka Seltzer Products don't carry the Gold. It helps my acid reflux but is hard to find locally. I usually just take one tablet in half a glass of water. Try not to take more than 2 a day but also use meds or other products.

Aspirin is not a safe product for most people. NSAIDS (aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen, etc. are not safe for your kidneys, especially if you are diabetic, and even if you are not. Regular alkaseltzer contains aspirin for pain relief. If all you have is indigestion, you don't need aspirin. Alkaseltzer Gold is just the answer for this if you like a liquid remedy for indigestion and heartburn. I recommend it for both.

Nice to have an aspirin-free Alka-Seltzer for someone who has to avoid aspirin (or other NSAIDs). I just wish stores would carry it, and that it was the same price as normal Alka-Seltzer (supply/demand/price rears its ugly head).
